Sometimes I think his lack of confidence comes from knowing he was given up for adoption,even if he had a good life and was loved by his adoptive family,maybe sometimes he feels rejected and not good enough,(I’m not saying they make him feel likethat,I’m sure they love him alot,but those kind of feelings sadly are normal ….it makes me sad,I hope he can be happy. Sorry english isn’t my first lenguage.
LOL I don’t believe JJ has ever ignored a mirror he passes. In general I think he’s a pretty confident guy. However, it would be a turn off for a lot if he were to go around saying he was good looking. We’d all be like “yes Jaejoong, we have eyes you’re good looking.” But in the chance he does have some low opinion of his looks, it probably has a lot to do with him being in the entertainment industry. Especially with the eastern version. They are more ridged when it comes to what is considered the standard of beauty. From eye and face size, to shape of nose, to skin color, and their obsession with being skinny(imo to an unhealthy degree). It seems you have to posses qualities A, B, C and D to be considered beautiful/handsome.. I don’t think they embrace the saying “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

I don’t think so because his bio mom was pregnant at an young age and she said his bio dad was a priest… so I doubt they have a picture of him. But, I am curious too. He must be handsome too xD

A priest? I thougt his father was an office worker and divorced JJ´s mother after he went bancrupt, that left her alone with JJ and his (older?) sister. His bio father started a lawsuit against his adoptive parents so I ´m sure there must exist somewhere pics of him, but I ´ve never seen any. Probably it never left k-fandom/sasaengs circles.
I remember seeing a post awhile ago (when Jae first got his twitter) there was a pik of man who a lot of people said was Jae’s biological dad, but I don’t know, but anyways he was very handsome, and didn’t really look Korean. I’m not 100% sure though if it was his bio dad.

That is a question. How would his fandom react to him getting maried? Or even just dating his gf openly?
I know that i-fans always say they would congratulate him and be happy for him. But how big part of them would leave the fandom? And especially in Korea, where they take such things more seriously. Idols are more like substitute boyfriends and once you get married or your idol is taken, it is viewed as inappropriate to fangirl anymore? Maybe if JJ would take more acting roles and had more drama/movie fans, it would go smoother because actor´s fans seem to behave differently from idol fans, less like jealous gfs?

JJ is talking about marriage for the last two years… I mean, he’s mentioning it often. And with him swearing in an interview that he has no gf, I guess he’s not about to prepare the fandom. Btw, swearing and preparing the fandom… I find this very, ehm, awkward and weird, as if he has to justify his life to anybody.

in the second picture he does not look korean to me. i am reminded of james dean sort of face. i guess also cause of his hair combed back like that so young. i know he is, it just struck me like that at first! i have always been so curious what his bio dad looked like cause jj is so handsome and he does indeed have unique features: his large beautiful eyes, straight nose, etc., enough to look bi racial to some people maybe. i know his mom also have such pretty large eyes. it just would be nice to see him with a photo of both of them to see who he resembles where 🙂 i wonder if he was ever in contact with him after the divorce when he was small. probably not, huh.
