[NEWS] 130215 JYJ Park Yoo Chun to Fly in Private Jet for Chinese TV Show

As a star on high demand, JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun will be riding a private jet to China to appear in a television show.

On February 15, C-Jes Entertainment announced that Park Yoo Chun will be the first Korean celebrity to appear on China’s Hunan TV popular special, Yuan Xiao Jie Show.

With Park Yoo Chun’s dramas, such as Rooftop Prince and I Miss You, growing popular in China, the program staff, who are also in charge of the top rated show, Happy Camp, has been working hard to schedule Park Yoo Chun on its show.

“In consideration of Park Yoo Chun’s busy schedules, we will be sending a private jet,” said the broadcast station staff. “With his appearance on this show, he will become a Korean actor who will be loved all over China.”

Park Yoo Chun will appear on the show on February 24.

[TRANS] Drama ‘Missing You’ is a hot favourite for Smart Phones

In the last 2 months, the VOD (Video-on-demand) sales analysis of T Store, under Korea’s biggest telecommunication company SK Planet, showed that the programme with the highest sales is <Missing You> , accounting for 26.25% of drama VOD sales. A related party said, “Through portable devices, they can watch anytime, anywhere. Producers can use this as a reference for survey results and ratings.”

<Missing you> was No 1 in the internet download and portability platform. No wonder Oh Jung Se and Yoon Eun Hye mentioned in their interviews that the “actual ratings” felt in the surroundings seemed a lot higher than the TV ratings of the drama.

[FAN ACCOUNT] ‘Your, My & Mine’ Mini-Concert and Fanmeeting by Jaejoong’s Fanboy

I can still remember the morning when I woke up, looked at twitter on my phone and saw a few @-mentions from friends with the news that Jaejoong was going to release a solo-album! “really? A solo album? REALLY??!!”.  I did some quick research on fansites to find out that it was true! JAEJOONG WAS RELEASING A SOLO ALBUM, A SOLO ROCK ALBUM!!! GODDDD, a few months before I tweeted Jaejoong begging him to release a solo rock album along with an URL of his MAZE performance, I said that if he would ever release one that I’d buy 10,000 copies, LMAO.

Along with the release of the album came the news that Jaejoong would hold a fanmeeting + mini concert in Seoul. Wooaaaahhhhhh,  I’ve always told myself that if Jaejoong would ever have a solo concert that I would be there, no matter what. After talking about it at work and getting free days I could start looking how to get tickets. Luckily I have amazing friends in the fandom that were willing to help me! My precious Japanese nuna [BEE-nuna, who I met at the JYJ Berlin concert] managed to get me a ticket for the Saturday concert, and for the Sunday concert I asked an eBay seller, he got me a VIP seat!!!

So after I was sure of my concert tickets I could book my flight tickets and a hostel. It was quite hard to find a good hostel Maybe because it was on such short notice, everything seemed to be fully booked. But after hours of searching I managed to find a hostel that had a free room for the time I stayed in Seoul. Now the only thing left was waiting.. And preparing of course. I printed a ton of maps of how to go to; Coffee Cojjee, BUM’s Story, Crebeau Jeff, Nuna Photo Studio, concert venue, hostel. I’ve been to Seoul before but it’s still quite stressy to go so far all alone.. kkk

[Flashforward to January 23rd] The trip to Seoul was pretty tiring, Brussels -> London -> Seoul. I woke up at 5AM to catch my flight at 10AM in Brussels, then had to wait 3 hours in London for my transfer-flight to Seoul which was over 12 hours. The total time spent at airports/in planes was about 18 hours. I can’t really sleep on planes because I’m so tall and can never get comfortable, I cursed a few times and told myself I’m pretty crazy to fly over for a concert, DAMN YOU JAEJOONG♥♥♥♥.  So I was quite tired arriving in Seoul, but luckily I was welcomed by JYJ at the Tony Moly  store in the airport.

[NEWS] 130214 JYJ Looking to Sign a New Contract with a New Record Label in Japan

JYJ is currently out looking for a new partner in Japan to support its promotions in the country.

According to many media outlets in Japan, following its triumph in a long and winding legal case against its Japanese agency Avex in January, JYJ has received many love calls from pretigious local record labels.

One outlet reported, “Despite the fact that K-Pop′s popularity is at its lowest in Japan, JYJ can still make profit with its strong fan base. The group can draw audiences with its live performances.”

A local official stated, “Large agencies have been sending offers, but we believe one agency is already a strong candidate.”

A rep from C-JeS Entertainment told enews, “It is true that following the winning of the suit, the group has been meeting actively with Japanese companies. It′s been holding many talks to look them over carefully and strike a deal with a trustworthy and stable partner.”

On January 18, the Tokyo District Court denied Avex the right to claim exclusive management rights over JYJ′s Japanese activities. It also ordered Avex to pay compensation of 660 million yen (approx. 7.8 billion won) to the group as well as 1 million yen (approx. 11 million won) to the C-JeS Ent. rep on defamation claims.
