JYJ (Jaejoong, Yuchun, and Junsu) has increased physical contract with fans with a new SNS account.
On Feb 27, JYJ has opened an official account in LINE, a messenger app with more than 100 million people subscribers worldwide. In just one week since opening the official account, JYJ LINE account has 580,000 registered users as friends: 70,000 friends in their Korean account, 250,000 in their Japanese account, and 180,000 in their English account.
JYJ recently shared to fans worldwide a diverse range of content including photos from drama scene from movie, script reading, concert practice, autograph sessions as well as voice messages.
C-jes Entertainment official said, “The purpose of the existing official website and Facebook account are for spreading accurate information. LINE, on the other hand, they can post pictures or record a voice message to reach to fans more. Fans can also talk with them real time, including overseas fans whose numbers increased during JYJ’s world tour.”
JYJ said, “Recently we’re having fun discovering LINE’s functions. Voice messages and stickers can be sent. From now on, when we have overseas schedule, we’ll leave voice messages on Line’s overseas account.”
Meanwhile, to celebrate the opening of JYJ’s official LINE account, Kim Jaejoong, currently on his Asia tour, will be having a live chat which will be broadcasted on March 11.

I understand their popularity in Japan, but why only 70K in Korea?
I think it’s because Korea still mainly uses KakaoTalk

Really now, that should tell them something. This was just in the first few days! C-jeS and JYJ really need to come to terms with their enormous international, English speaking fandom. We are here for you! We love you and we will support you.
Since some fan also add their others accounts aswell we won’t know the actual number to how many fan they have. Also, what about their Vietnamese account?
Can someone please tell me how to sign up for Line? I tried to but just cannot figure out how to sign up!!!!
when you register, you’ll received verification number that u should put in. it’s easy, my smart phone transferred the verification code themselves and i just need to push ok button. just make sure you got good internet connection when do so.
about how to add JYJ[EN] account, just follow what JYJ3 admin taught..

Yup, it’s for sure Blackberry can’t add official accounts. There goes our hope out the window to chat with them… I’ve talked to a few JYJ fans who are using Blackberry and having the same problem. One friend suggested this LINE problem report form: https://line.naver.jp/cs/en/
Please fill up and send to LINE. Hopefully if many Blackberry users report they might do something about it!

As an Ifan, I would like to be included in on some of these activities; I know others would too. 180,000 is no small number^^
These 580,000 registered users as friends could mean the avid followers. Who checks updates about JYJ everyday. I think this will gradually increase most likely after JJs fan meeting.
Most of blackberry users does have issues with Naver…its one blockage that I see. They can register but cant add JYJ accounts. Hope it gets resolve immediately.

When I joined it was only 20k, it increased so fast that it went to half a million in a week 🙂 Im proud to be one of those 180k people on english account ^_^V
How do i add the english account?
u may add it from Singapore or Hong Kong. Just click on the “…” then select official account. Scroll to the bottom and u will see select another country. Choose Singapore / Hk to get the english version~
Regardless the built in nature of LINE, it is a good move JYJ now consolidate fans / younger generation with smartphone apps.

yes im using blackberry too and i have problem add their official account, line app works only for people that already in friend list from sim card and i cant add other by using user id but my friends use android and she doesnt have problem like i do so i hope this problem will solve , and for all who already joint their official account congratz and enjoy the fan meeting on 11 march wid JJ

i know im in LINE everyday since word was out….my statement refers to why the total counts is seen as low by some against what everyone expects…
I added Line just for them…

i’ve uninstalled my line application about a month ago but when i heard that jyj made their official account, i directly went to market to reinstalled it, 😀
it feels like ‘huaaa’ when they sent us their messages. jyj, i just love them.. 🙂
