Shahera5 yes I am huge karate fan started watching karate movies on netflix and came across slave hunters which suggested more movies like bad boy then Ms Ripley first I was in for a bit of a shock though do you mean the good guy does not all ways win then I loved it for its reality base so very much so … I fell in love with Micky/Park/Chunnie then a true fan was born… as a vocalist I love pure sound and they kept playing this song by him could not understand a word of it but it kept catching my ear I had to look it up.now JYJ consumes me… How did you become a fan…

So here is my longish path to JYJ: Starting about last August watched Faith (Korean drama) with actor Lee Min Ho which led to http://www.dramabeans.com for synopsis and info about other Lee Min Ho dramas. Found Boys Over Flowers and watched all and discovered Kim Hyun Joong. Found out about his upcoming drama City Conquest (now cancelled) and saw some video teasers from it. One of the images in it dropped a fanfic story into my head which then required lots of KHJ research. Discovered video interview with KHJ and Kim Jaejoong as his best friend which led to curiosity about Jaejoong and learned about JYJ. At some point started following JYJ3.net which led me to info about Jaejoong’s new mini album (which I purchased). Became more and more obsessed with JYJ. Watched video of Tarantellegra, watched Junsu on Youtube in his musicals, his December concert, the making video for the Levay and Friends concert. My word, what tremendous talent he has. Watched Come on Over. Watched Heaven’s Postman and Codename Jackal. Watched Sungkyunkwan Scandals with Yuchun. Just finished watching Rooftop Prince. Continuously impressed with the talent and dedication of JYJ. Also like to support the underdog and I hate the way they were treated by SM and Korean broadcasting stations. So here I am, very addicted to our boys.
Don’t know if you are familiar with dramabeans.com. They are an amazing website for people who love K-drama. There’s some interest in K-pop as well. They are starting to have meet-ups. There was a meet-up in NYC tonight and there’s one in Chicago at 6pm on Saturday, April 20 at a Korean restaurant. The Midwest Beanies who are organizing the Chicago meet-up have a Facebook group which is private, but you just need to ask to join. My husband and I are going to the meet-up in Chicago. Thought since you lived in Indiana you might be interested in going. We could talk about JYJ.

Thanks to bad we did not meet up in March I won tickets to see Lee Min Ho in Los Angeles I went by myself as everyone was busy.. So I gave my extra ticket to someone I met in line he is tall but really thin I thought ok due not push to hard he might break he is really cute and one of the Ajumas (older women) I was with won a chance to go up and get a signed poster from him and hug if necessary she said he was just to precious to hug.. I really enjoyed it..
