The concert will be held on June 24-26 at the Yokohama Arena.
After releasing his mini solo album and holding a tour in 6 cities including Bangkok and Shanghai, JYJ Kim Jaejoong’s popularity will be demonstrated once again this June with the finale concert at Yokohama Arena in Japan.
On the 28th, C-jes Entertainment agency said, “Kim Jaejoong’s Asian Tour will have the finale in Japan. From June 24-26, an estimated 13,000 per day and around 40,000 people for the concert series is expected to be mobilized.”
The agency said, “Kim Jaejoong’s solo album was not officially released in Japan but it has gained tremendous popularity in Japan iTunes and Amazon charts. That’s why an extension of the tour was decided.”
Kim Jaejoong’s first solo mini-album I and the repackaged album ‘Y’ had solid sucess with 140K copies initially sold and with an aggregate cumulative sales of 200K which resulted to him being ranked no 1 solo artist in Hanteo charts this year. The song One Kiss and the repackaged album ‘Y’ topped the iTunes chart in Japan immediately after its release.
In particular, Kim Jaejoong switching to rock music for his mini-album has been a hot topic. Kim Jaejoong displayed himself as a singer-songwriter/rocker and has topped rock charts both in Korea and overseas. It also was well-received by music critics and officials.
The agency said that, “Kim Jaejoong is involved directly in the planning of the grand finale of the ‘Your, My and Mine’ concert. A new program has been revealed. Part 1 will have the fanmeeting concept where he can directly communicate with the fans. The mini concert will have two parts – one from his solo album and one will be filled with Japanese music that Japan fans want to listen to.”

I’m so very very much looking forward to jae’s choices of japanese songs. Will it be ‘glamorous sky’ again? But i prefer different songs, that he has never been singing before. And probably we will get many songs? If i can suggest i hope he will sing songs from respective japanese singers, such as ken hirai ‘hitomi wo tojite’, remioromen ‘only human’, songs from laruku, the gospeller, etc.
Ahhh, of he could sing a ken hirai, I’d be forever grateful. My wish is to hear jae sing an Oda kazumasa song.
and what an awesome time it will be! sure wish i could go too! yes, there are so many good japanese songs he could really sing well. it will be fun to see the ones he chooses!
