[FAN ACCOUNT] Jaejoong’s Live Concert and FM in Yokohama (3 Days) by JaejoongFanboy

Where to start? Kkk Always my question when I want to write a fan-account. I guess after I attended Jaejoong’s solo concert in Seoul I knew I wanted to see one more of his solo concerts. But all dates that got released were so short-notice that it was really hard (read: impossible) for me to attend any of them. ;;

So then one night the JYJ Tokyo Dome concerts got announced! OMFG I wanted to go so badly, you don’t even know. But the news was released one month before the concerts so it was also too short notice for me… ;; ;; ;; ;; ;; Though soon after I started hearing rumours about a Jaejoong solo concert in Japan, aka: my dream, I’ve always wanted to attend a concert in Japan. Judging from Japanese concert DVDs, the fans look so respectful, they’re always so quiet when the singer sings, so you’re really able to listen to the artist.

So soon after the Yokohama dates got announced. It was, again, really short notice.. But I really /really/ wanted to go. Three days…Jaejoong…grand…finale…concert… I had to attend these concerts. It wasn’t easy but I was able to work everything out and get leave at work. But then the second problem were tickets, knowing that Jaejoong is immensely popular in Japan, trying to get tickets for this concert was going to be hell. Luckily my dear Japanese friend managed to get me tickets for all three days ;; ;; ;; ;; ;;!!

So after my friend managed to get me the concert tickets, I booked plane-&-hotel-tickets. This all happened so fast the countdown to leave for Japan was really short, only about 10 days? #excited kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Since this was going to be my first trip to Japan I was rather nervous. Will I be able to find my way in Japan? How will I get from Narita-airport to Yokohama? Will the people be able to speak English? Eeehhh So many questions.. But luckily, everything turned out just fine ^__^/

So after I arrived at my hotel I decided to walk around. The Yokohama-arena was so close to my hotel, only about 700m, so I decided to go there and see what it was like. Unfortunately there weren’t any Jaejoong posters or signs of Jaejoong to be found LOL. What I did see were KARA-fans, seems like KARA had a fanmeeting at the arena that day, kkkkkk. So after that I did some shopping (pokemon center!) and then returned to the hotel. I wanted to go to bed early since I was really tired + I still had to paint my nails, hahahha.. which took longer than expected. It’s so hard to paint your right nails with your left hand!!!!!! Lmaoooo

My plan at first was to sleep in since I was soo tired.. But I was already awake at 7AM so then I decided to shower and start lining up for the merch. I was pretty early, around 9AM (?) so I was early in line. Soon after, Anita, a fan from San-Francisco who I had met at the Seoul concerts, joined me in line. It was really hot this day (24/06) so we had to use sunscreen & umbrellas to protect ourselves from the sun kkkk. Shortly after my Japanese friend also joined us. While waiting we talked about JYJ/JJ, Korean drama’s, K-pop,.. It’s really nice to hear each others background stories about how we became a Jaejoong/JYJ fan.. So interesting, people from all over the world, sharing and supporting the same person. Really nice <3.

DAY1

So around 12:30 they started to bring out tables, banners and posters. The sale was going to start soon! We were sitting down at first but now everyone got excited and decided to stand up. There were a lot of tables and people coming, so I figured the sale would go fast, which it did. Since I wanted to pay with cc I had to go to the last two tables where they were selling.

I bought everything, which wasn’t that much tbh ;; two fans, a lightstick and a towel. I wish they would’ve included at jumbo towel and a tshirt, lol, my favourite merch. But maybe it was better this way, didn’t have to spend too much money, lol.

After the goods-sale we decided to have lunch, since it was already around 14h we were all pretty hungry. Anita, my Japanese friend and me were joined by 4 other Japanese fans and ate in a restaurant around the arena. We were lucky that we were early in line for goods because soon after every restaurant would be full and had a waiting line to get in. Again the conversation was all about JYJ & Jaejoong. Most of us were attending all three days and we couldn’t hold our excitement.

After our lunch we decided to meet up with more Japanese fans in a nearby hotel lobby. We took pictures of our nails, bracelets and sent them to Jaejoong through twitter, since he explicit asked for the rock-dressing code kkkkkkk. It was really fun, but some of us were getting really nervous.. The concert was only a few hours away. We’d see Jaejoong pretty soon eeehhhh!! ;; ;; ;; ;; ;;

We then made our way to the arena! So many fans were here now, wow! I guess no one wanted to be late kkkkkk. A few of our friends decided to get a shot in the bar right across the arena because they were too excited/nervous.. kkkkkkkkkkk. So lining up takes some time but we got in pretty fast actually! There were flower bouquets everywhere from fanclubs&fans all over the world, supporting Jaejoong and his last solo concerts, really nice. So now inside we had to figure out which door we had to take to enter the concert hall.

Once inside we were so surpised; there was a main stage, but also a round center stage connected to it! Uwaa, my friend and me knew that our seat for the first day was somewhere in the middle on the ground floor.. Could it be near the center stage? CHIGAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! It was RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CENTER STAGE!!!!!! Hahahhahahaha omg my friend and I couldn’t believe it, we were sooooooooooooooo excited it was unreal, impossible.. SO CLOSE? NO WAY! We double checked our seats, this wasn’t possible.. lmaooo. We nearly died before the concert even started. People around us were also screaming and couldn’t believe the awesome seats they had! I’m soooo thankful to my friend for these seats T___T!!!!

I was so nervous so I had to pee but it was again really hard to find a male restroom, all of them had changed to female restrooms! Luckily there was one that was kept for the male fans, lol! So when I came back it was about 15 minutes before the concert started and I started to feel really, really nervous, sweating and all.. lmaooooo.

Then the lights went out TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT and Jaejoong came out. Sooooooooooooooooooooooo handsome, his face, body, clothes, hair, eyes, mouth, nose, hand, arms, legs, shoes,.. I’ll never forget how he looked!! O M G. My prince!!! So the fanmeeting started and apparently it was going to be held on the center stage? NO FUCKING WAY!!!!!! Right in front of me? HAHAHHAHA NO WAS NOT POSSIBLE. ABSOLUTELY NOT. JAEJOONG WAS GOING TO SIT HERE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME FOR THE NEXT HOUR? HAHAHAHAH NO, NO, NOOOO. My friend and I went crazy, batshit… hahahahahha so close? Nooonooooonooooooooooooooo!!

But it was real! Omg the fanmeeting started and Jaejoong was sitting right in front of us. His beautiful beautiful smile, impossible to forgot, perfect teeth and his cute little cheeks. Ah Jaejoong, I wish you are happy and smile for the rest of your life. So handsome when he smiles.

I don’t know for sure, but I think he looked at me a few times, we all stood up during the fanmeet and I was by far one of the tallest people standing in front of the stage so he probably could not help but notice me lol. Since my Japanese skills are so low it was hard to understand the fanmeet, but I could follow the big lines and about 7,5% of what they said? Lol. It was enough, I could stare at Jaejoong, right in front of me. Enjoying himself talking with the Japanese fans!

It was (too) soon time for Jaejoong to change clothes and during this small break the MC asked people where they were coming from. Fans around me forced me to stand up since I’m so obviously foreign, lollollol. So MC first noticed a girl from Texas (I think?), and then the people around me started screaming so the MC turned around and looked at me, he asked me where I was from, and meanwhile my face was displayed on the big screens (oh nooooo lmaoooooo), I was so embarrassed and shy. I got so nervous and probably started acting like a fool, lmaoo. I never want to see the video of me on that screen.. hahahha. So I answered that I was from Belgium, then MC asked my name and “jaejoong suki desu ka?” (Do you like Jaejoong?) so I screamed “DAISUKIIIIII” (I love him!!). I think Japanese fans liked my answer since they were cheering, Kkkkk!

Then Jaejoong came back out with different clothes and a cute little tail hanging on the side. He later hung the tail on his ass and started shaking it. THIS.WAS.TOO.CUTE. I still die thinking about it.. omfggg shaking his little ass with this tail.. lmaoooo. Ugh godd someone help me while I die again. But then the MC told Jaejoong that there were fans from Texas and Belgium! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MC pointed at me and Jaejoong looked directly at me, now I’m 100% sure, he’s looking right in my eyes (while I was dying). O M G, I won’t bother trying to describe this feeling because it’s not possible. But omggg omggg no other words, omgggggggg. Jaejoong then joked “why are Taxes and Belgium sitting so far away? Aren’t they dating?” lmaoooooooooo. NO JAEJOONG WE’RE NOT KKK MY HEART ONLY FOR YOU OK? kkkkkkkkkkkk. Of course I didn’t say anything, lmfao too scared to move since he was still looking at me from time to time.

Then too soon, the fanmeeting was over TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

But now it was time for the concert!!!!!! The intro video was kakkoisugiru (too cool/handsome/awesome) My friend and I kept looking at each other and we kept yelling KAKKOI KAKKOI KAKKOIIIII OMG KAKKOIII. The intro was too good. And then …. ROCKER JAEJOONG came out! “MINE”! OH GOD FUCK YEAH. We all got our rock-moves on (aka waving our red lightsticks) and enjoyed his voice. VOICE FROM HEAVEN, I’ve said it in my previous fanaccount, the emotion he puts in his singing, I can’t describe it. His second song was a Japanese song, “Precious”. I, and many others, couldn’t hold our tears, finally I could hear jaejoong sing a Japanese song irl. I lovelovelove it when he sings Japanese songs, his voice suits the language so well.

The concert went way too fast, seeing him perform all of these songs so well, time literally flew. During Ayaka’s song “Crescent Moon” we did a green ocean project, it was sooo pretty. Jaejoong thanked us for the project after. I think he really enjoys these kind of projects, because all fans have to work together to make this happen. The last song was “Glamorous Sky”, ever since I had seen the fancams from Tokyo Dome I wanted to see him perform this song live! OMFGGG When I heard the first few notes I /died/ again. I took my friend’s hand and semi-jumped on her because of excitement. Lmaoooo we all started jumping and waving our lightstick like crazy. After the concert I had mixed feelings, sad because it was over, but also happy because there were still two days left!

After so.many.people asked for a picture together.. kkk I guess they knew me because my face appeared on the screen during the fanmeeting part? Kkkkk I didn’t mind though, all fans were super super nice and sweet.

So after this my friends and I decided to have dinner in a restaurant nearby.. And when I entered the restaurant half of the people there went “eeeeeeeeeeeeee BERUUGIIIII-kun” (The Belgian boy”). Hahahah Japanese fans are sooo cute and sweet, still can’t get over it. Kkkkk

DAY 2 My Japanese friend and me decided to go to NOID & BOSSANOVA this day. Since these shops are in Tokyo we had to take the train, it took about 50 minutes? Jaejoong mentions NOID-shop in 3voices so it’s really known amongst fans. So many fans had the same idea as my friend and me. Some of them seemed to remember me from the concert and asked to take pictures, kkk. I tried on so many clothes.. lmfaoooo. The shop-owner told me “Jaejoong has worn this, fans have giving Jaejoong this- he might wear it, Jaejoong bought this,..” kkkkkkk O M G WHAT TO BUY. But it seems like Jaejoong’s legs are quite a bit skinnier than mine LOL, the jeans’ didn’t look good on me. So I decided to buy two t-shirts, the shop it rather ~pricey lol, so it was all I bought ;~~;. We then moved on and went to BOSSANOVA which is really close to NOID. Again, there were a lot of fans in the shop here and they also seemed to recognize me.. kkkkk. BN has really nice jewellery but the finer jewellery is quite pricey (around ~200/300€?), so I went for a simpler bracelet which was around 60€ and really nice, it was perfect for the rock-dressing code :D!

We then hurried to Korea-town. It seemed like Korea-town was JYJ themed, they were playing JYJ everywhere, some shops had “JYJ-events”, as they called it. At one point a restaurant was playing the “worldwide concert” DVD and my friend and I stopped for a while to watch. There were already two others fans watching, my friend and I squealed when JJ appeared for the first time and the two fans looked at us and said “BERUUGI” again . They also attended the 24/06 concert so they recognized me. Some more fans walking around seemed to remember me and we talked with all of them for a bit, such nice times <3.

After we went back to Yokohama.. I met up with fans at the same hotel lobby as DAY1 and had some really nice chatting with Japanese fans again. About how JYJ gets blocked in Japan, what they think about it, how we see the future, what we wish for them to do later on,.. It soooo nice seeing a Japanese point of view on all these topics. Want to thank them for the nice chat.

It soon was time to go to the arena again. Just like DAY1 it was really crowded around the concert hall, everyone wanted to get in asap. I noticed a lot more fanboys today, so cool ne! AND TODAY OUR SEAT WAS CLOSE TO THE MAIN STAGE, wow! Yesterday we could see the FM really good, today we had an amazing view on the main stage, perfect view for the concert.

Since we were so close to the main stage our view for the FM was less, we had JJ’s backview, but there were enough screens to see JJ, so all was good. He of course looked as gorgeous as ever, being his stunning self. During FM part MC asked again were everybody came from. Since everyone around me seemed to know me they asked me to stand up, and they started screaming towards the MC, he heard and asked me.. haha my face showed up on the screen again, so embarrassing >.< lmao. There also was a fanboy from Sweden (~I think), we should start planning our trips together tbh.. lmaooo!

Then the concert, omggggg, we could see him from sooo closeby, for me the concert on DAY2 was the best, he didn’t miss a line and almost hit every note perfect. So much emotion. I’m so happy I was able to attend this day, it was SOSOSOSO good! Really! After the concert it took a while before I could leave, a lot of fans asking for pictures again kkkkk. Of course it wasn’t problem, every single one is so sweet. Wish I lived in Japan and could meet up with them for coffee from time to time ;; ;; ;; ;; ;;

DAY 3 Today I wanted to line up for merch again since I wanted a second lightstick. I like to keep all the goods that I buy in the original packaging. But I had to unwrap the lightstick I bought on day1 because I wanted to use it, I needed a second one.. The weather was horrible this day.. SO.MUCH.RAIN literally all day long, rainrainrain. Everybody was using their umbrella’s.. But I had a small problem with mine, it was leaking.. What’s the use of an umbrella when it leaks here and there? Lmfao. Anyway I made it out alive, but rather wet.

After the goods I met up with Anita again, we went to starbucks and bic camera (huge store!). We then later met up with Millie & Ning at the hotel and talked a lot. There is so much to discuss when it comes to JYJ & Jaejoong. Before we knew it we had to hurry to the arena kkkkkkkk. Today was the last day ;; ;; ;; ;; ;;

My seat today was SB, which means it was behind the stage. Sounds horrible but it really wasn’t, I actually had quite a good view. I was pretty close to the main stage and also had a good view on the center stage. + there were big screens everywhere. The MCs for the FM were the funniest out of the three days, imo. At least from what I could understand. And they just acted really silly, lmao. I really had to laugh out loud a few times because they were so funny.

The concert was, again, amazing. The band was dressed visual kei-ish, probably because the DVD got recorded today. Jaejoong did so well, I think he gave that extra bit more because of the DVD filming. So handsome, I can’t wait till the DVD gets released, just hope it won’t be membership only TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

Towards the end of the concert Jaejoong asked fanboys to scream. There were so many fanboys screaming from everywhere so he looked around to all corners the screams were coming from. After a little while the screams lessened a bit so then I decided to scream, really loud, he looked in our direction and all the girls around me pointed their lightstick at me. It took Jaejoong about a second to find me. So at this moment jaejoong was looking right at me again, I wonder if he recognized me. But since I didn’t know what to do I did “saranghae” sign over my head. But during this moment another fanboy screamed “SARANGHAE”, so then Jaejoong said, all while still looking at me “ore mo dayo, aishiteruyo” (“me too, I love you”). I’m so confused as to whether Jaejoong said it to me (since I did the armsign and he was looking at me) or to the other fanboy (since he screamed “saranghae”). I’ll probably never know so I’ll just go and tell myself he said it to me. My friend next to me kept saying “omg he said I love you to you omg he said I love you”, she was really happy as well, since she was sitting so close. It felt like he was looking at her as well when he said it.

After the concert I talked to so many fans and took pictures again, then had dinner with Anita & Ning. We all had double feelings, this was the last day L. But we were also really happy that we could attend all three days. Seeing Jaejoong three days straight in FM and in concert! Probably the most a fan can wish for.

The next, and my last, day in Japan I went to China town in Yokohama with my Japanese friend. I didn’t have much time since I had to catch the airport bus at 14h30. But we hurried to the arcade hall, it was the same arcade hall Jaejoong had been to. All of it got shown during one of the fanmeets. Jaejoong played one specific machine were you had to try and catch LINE-naver dolls. There were quite a few fans here trying to get the dolls! I tried as well but didn’t have any luck.. Some Japanese fans outside lent me their dolls for a second so I could take a picture with them though, so nice kkkkkk. After I hurried back to catch my bus to Narita-airport and had to leave back to Belgium TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

I really can’t describe how amazing this (short) trip was, I met so many amazing sweet fans, saw Jaejoong live in concert for three days straight and he even looked at me for a few seconds. Like a dream. Thank you Jaejoong!!!! Hope to see you again soon <3.
