Oricon is Japan’s music chart
(Like how Korea has Gaon or Hanteo, and U.S. has iTunes and Billboard)
(JYJ3 Note: XIA Junsu’s “Incredible” album is considered a ‘Western’ album because it is not an album produced within Japan; in other words, it is a foreign album and exported into the country.)

Yeah so happy for Junsu he tops another chart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone explain to me the difference between the charts:
Oricon Chart (western, ????)
Hanteo Chart (daily and real time)
Gaon Chart
Interpark
Itunes Chart- This is the total albums sold that were purchased over the internet, it is not the physical album correct?
Any other charts that I have not listed that Junsu/JYJ have appeared on
Oricon Chart (western, ????) — origan is a japonese chart, purchases of an album by Japonese people but the album is not japonese.
Hanteo Chart (daily and real time) — Hanteo is an album-sale monitoring charts in Korea, hanteo is counting when albums are sold in stores to people buying them and it counts on real-time sales, daily = sales for the whole day..real time = sales until that specific moment (hanteo updated every 20 min) you can also see the weekly, monthly and yearly Chart in hanteo…hanteo’s records usually come from major music or specific shops, small-sized shops’ sales are not counted in.
Gaon Chart — another album-sale monitoring charts in Korea, GAON count when albums are sent from the distributors to stores, gaon upload every week (Thursdays) but we can’t see the actual sales only the artists for the actual sales we need to wait for the monthly chart …gaon also have a digital single chart that ranks the digital music sales and it is compiled from online data provided by web-based music providers like melon, mnet, soribada etc.
Interpark — A korean online auction and shopping mall where people buy and sell goods and services. (ticket, album whatever)
Itunes Chart- yes.
I think they have appeared on every korean chart till know (not sure though)
