[OTHER NEWS] 130802 Seol Kyung-Ku goes to C-Jes.. will be in same company with JYJ and Lee Jung-Jae
According to C-Jes Entertainment on August 2nd, Seol Kyung Ku confirmed the new lodging after the contract with the previous management company had been expired on last July. He will be continuing his acting career in C-Jes Entertainment, the management company of the group JYJ, which is gaining popularity from all over the world, and the actor Lee Jung-Jae, Song Ji-Hyo, Park Sung-Woong, Park Yoo-Hwan and etc.
The staff from the management company notified: “It has been decided after a long talk on last August 1st [sic – July 1st], but it’s been notified sooner than expected. As far as I know, Seol Kyung-Ku in fact had been attempting to consider for one to two months whether or not to sign the contract.”
Also, Seol Kyung-Ku made appearance on SBS ‘Healing Camp’, stated that his daughter was an ardent fan of JYJ. It is also interesting that he became the same member of the management company with his daughter’s favorite musician. The management company staff stated, “Even before moving the company, Seol Kyung-Ku used to attend JYJ’s performance with his daughter. Scouting Seol Kyung-Ku is the pleasant event for the company.”

Actor, general remarks: Let’s look back at the obstacles in Park Yuchun’s acting journey. His dancing and singing abilities were already at the top, but for his acting skills, it was a dangerous attempt; if he did not act well, he would be laughed at for “rotten acting”. Ahn Nae Sang, a senior actor who acted with him in his debut drama ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ once said this, “Normally, if ‘it’s alright that I don’t do this’, a person will just leave it and not care about it anymore, but I can feel that Yuchun will spend a lot of effort to understand how to do it.” Park Yuchun is an actor that has both the ernest sincerity of an idol as well as unrestrained performance ability. After ‘Miss Ripley’, ‘Rooftop Prince’ and ‘Missing You’, there is no voice that questions his acting ability.
I saw it right from the start: PD Kim Won Suk (director of ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’, in an interview on ‘PD Channel’) said, “At that time, we were discussing to pick one member from Dong Bang Shin Ki; right from the start, Yuchun was being considered more than the others. He has a face that’s pure, transparent and good-looking, his voice is also very good, although he did need the basic training of script analysis. Even though at first when he practised with the script, I felt it was a bit lacking, but he really has an abundance of expressions and is also very talented. Now I am still saying, definitely must let this friend go and act.

Plans for next project: Still in discussion for next work, will be decided in 1~2 months; as a singer, JYJ activities are expected to be announced in October~November.
