XIA Junsu has successfully concluded the first leg of his Asia Tour with his Busan concert.
XIA Junsu’s ‘XIA 2nd ASIA TOUR IN BUSAN’ shows at BEXCO on August 10th & 11th ended with success.
C-JeS Entertainment stated, “Kim Junsu, who released his 2nd album on the 15th of last month, has succeeded in finishing his Asia Tour in four cities in one month. Starting from Bangkok in Thailand, Shanghai in China, Seoul and finally Busan; thanks to the stage that keeps progressing at every performance, Junsu has received appraisal that ‘fame never comes for nothing’.” (T/N: fame comes when it is deserved)
At this concert, Kim Junsu adorned the colorful stage with songs from his first and second solo albums as well as drama soundtracks. He proudly showed his unique and outstanding singing ability with ‘Sorry’, ‘Don’t Leave’, and ‘Love is Like a Snowflake’ accompanied by 100% all-live band, and presented an impeccable performance on stage with extraordinary choreography alongside Jeri Slaughter’s dance team in ‘Turn It Up’ and ‘Incredible’.
Kim Junsu also prepared ‘Genie Time’, a special segment in the concert where he granted fans’ wishes. At fans’ request, Kim Junsu sang parts of ‘Golden Star’ from the musical ‘Mozart!’ as well as Busker Busker’s ‘Cherry Blossom Ending’. At the end of the concert, fans cheered and requested Kim Junsu to perform ‘Incredible’, the title song from his new album, for the encore. Jeri Slaughter, who has been working with Kim Junsu, made a surprise appearance on the stage and the atmosphere was heated up even more.
Jeri Slaughter commented, “The last time I was on stage was four years ago with Janet Jackson, it has been a while. Junsu has a beautiful mind, he always thinks about his fans so he’s been working very hard.”
“The fans’ reaction and response were amazing. Junsu’s music is never-ending,” Slaughter praised.
“To me, releasing an album and performing are ways to pay back for the love everyone has been giving me,” Kim Junsu said. “I will forever sing for my fans as long as there are fans who want to hear me sing.”
Meanwhile, XIA Junsu will continue to rise as a musical actor in ‘Elisabeth’. He will resume the second leg of his Asia Tour on September 28th in Sydney, Australia.
