thanks for the detailed account , i have suspected the tweet must be related to Ok juhyun /director inteview, but never got the picture as i dont understand Korean at all
So… is it the magazine’s bad press and contents, or is it the manager’s insult, or are the fans really creating trouble? Doesn’t matter. These issue does not need to be so big. It’s affecting everyone’s (musical actors and staffs) moods. Anyone trying to stir shit should just stop.
This is just emk and their actress trying to make us look like the bad guys in that interview by saying that junsu’s fans boycotted her in the beginning. Initially fans thought it was the magazine’s fault but after fans’ request, heren has already provided the recording of the interview. From the beginning fans never started anything, but were dragged in like scapegoats by this company and the actress to be used to market themselves. Fans only want an explanation for all that has happened, because the interview has put a very bad light on junsu’s fans.
I never think it is a good decision to diss jyj or their fans in twitter…especially if they have fans all around the world…the manager shud be proffessional…even if he/she does not agree with fans action…where is the proffessionalism ppl? While fans action can be a little crazy sometimes but im sure theres a reason behind whatever they did…so cant blame them either…JYJ fighting!!!
The manager is a friggn bitch! I don’t care if he’s a guy or not! He called us JYJ fans dog! I didn’ even do anything and got labeled as a dog! If there’s a dog here, it would be the other way around! Dammit, I’m so pissed. No professionalism at all! Even if he’s really under the influence of alcohol, that didn’t make his words void. People tend to express what they really thought when they’re drunk.
the manager was totally out of line. it’s good he was suspended. being drunk is not an excuse.
about the interview – according to the audio there was a mistranslation regarding rehearsal shcedules, and those things were actually said by the director. Someone twas gossiping about Junsu with the director trying to damage his reputation…. the question is who did it. Fans are right to demand a name!
Ock was present at the interview. I don’t understand why she lied. Plus, she should have said something. Even if there had been fans who were against her, she knows she is liked and supported by most of Junsu’s fans.
And all this reminds me of SME’s dirty tactics of badmouthing behind people’s backs to drive people away and ultimately separate them!
Knew about this after read biut manager tweets in twitter, well hope this will be manage accordingly and didnt affect the musical.. Actually am quite suprised bcoz i trusted julia.s word, but well, the recorded once showed something else.. Hmm…. Xiahpaw are known to protect junsu and they rarely make a fuss bout anything, hope the end of the discussion will benefit both sides..
EMK again?
Junsu, be strong. Like i said before, some people are envying you guys (JYJ) overboard even if you guys don’t appear anywhere on the tv shows. They made a loud of noises just to get some attention for themselves.
I actually did not find anything implausible or terrible about what the director said. I am sure just like Junsu has lots of level-headed and mature fans, there are also immature fans who might have raised objection to him acting with Julia. From my years as a JYJ and Junsu fan, I have seen all kinds of fans and I don’t think we should completely rule out the possibility. Yes, I saw the support messages, but were these all that were sent to the production crew?
Junsu has fans in all age groups and there might be mature and immature fans among them. What was beautiful as the director pointed out was that once all of them saw the performance, even those who were not ready to accept Julia acting with Junsu saw her as the character and appreciated her. I can’t see why such a big fuss should be made about it. Yes, may be the director generalized it as the actions of all Junsu fans, but at that time the negative feedback must have outweighed the positive one for him to feel so scared about the outcome. I do not know how many will find this acceptable, but I do think as a fandom, we should be more self-critical and self-reflective. Why should we always insist that the actions of all JYJ fans should be right and honourable? Don’t we also have fans in our midst who might have acted immaturely?
I just feel this controversy was blown up and fear if this will take away from the wonderful working environment Junsu had in Elizabeth till now. For me as a Junsu fan, for Junsu to become a true musical actor, his fans should come to appreciate the genre he works in as a whole and respect it for what it is. All of these are such talented people and I wish fans would solve these things with more tact and respect. Fans could have written a letter to Robert Johanson where they expressed their point of view and expressed their support for the musical and its cast. This has just created a controversy where one could have been avoided. 😦
“I just feel this controversy was blown up and fear if this will take away from the wonderful working environment Junsu had in Elizabeth till now.”
Agree. I hope everything gets cleared up soon, but if Junsu is not letting himself be bothered by this, then i won’t either. Again we see him at his positive best, always focused on what matters most; his commitment to always give the best performance for the audience

for me, i just dont want to jump the bandwagon just yet.
but rest assured, when the time is needed, or something serious happen, we will all be ready to fight.
Junsu’s fans know he is good friends with this actress. The whole incident is rather strange. And what’s this attitude in some comments here about EMK? I thought EMK loves Junsu. He’s surely made them a lot of money.
My thinking is …How in the first place a manager pint point that the wrong doers are fans of Junsu ? If they are, they did not represent the majority stance of Junsu fans. We put all our support in Junsu career and never ever oppose to anybody he works with. *Full Stop!
Everyone, please stop arguing and focus on supporting Junsu. If this becomes BIG, it will be difficult for him to work in his future projects. Do not add another ROCK on the road. Move on forward 😉
Couldn’t agree more. The VERY LAST thing Junsu needs is another obstacle to overcome. Unfortunatly and unfairly he is still blocked and hindered (more then just on tv) There are just not enough stages for him to perform on. Please everyone, please don’t make things harder for him. Lets hold our heads up and keep on moving and supporting Junsu. The truth will come out in the end.
Agree with you! Let us not be the cause of embarrassment for Junsu. As his fans who have great pride in him, we should try to be smart and focused when these nasty items come our way. Show your support for Junsu by squashing this incident before it blows up in our faces and damages Junsu’s reputation with his peers. Let’s move forward with JYJ!!!
Here’s what I see.
In the beginning this issue was just a small fire.
jyj and junsu fans just wanted a proper apology and have Heren correct the mistake in the interview (after all fans been dealing with these kind of issues so many times now)
But Juhyun’s lie and her manager’s tweets poured oil into that small fire and now made everything worse for everyone
and i won’t bash Juhyun for she’s a good friend with junsu and made a sincere apology but that manager is a different story
I know there are immature fans of jyj (don’t really want to call them fans) who just pours all the unprofessional words without thinking beforehand
BUT what the manager did was the same
what the fans in the beginning was annoyed about – Heren interview that made all the junsu fans look like crazy, egocentric people –
the manager in a much more unprofessional and awful words did the same and insulted all the junsu fans and even junsu
And then making excuses like ‘I was drunk and it wasn’t my intention so let what i did pass’
(i seriously want to give that guy a slap and will not forgive him)
well at least c-jes finally try to step in and pour their energy to solve this issue before the fire got any bigger
and from what i see this issue will end here unless someone does the same thing as Heren or the manager
Is it me or because he has won the award for best actor it seems someone is trying to throw mud on it… Ok lets do this everyone pull the person to notify if this was actually stated…. Then fire the person who wrote the article if not sue the magazine for disparaging remarks. enough said.
Junsu just does his work quietly without bothering anyone and yet , there’s people looking for anything …. * sigh*
I can see some fans being annoying , media outlets and magazines being crappy and an actor laying about something ( who doesn’t) …but what I don’t get is how these ” managers” behave sometimes.
you even hear about blackmail and other serious shit done to celebs from their managers .
I think fans really do drag this into unnecessary lengths. It’s like it became a habit that JYJ fans demand an apology and an explanation for EVERYTHING. The magazine corrected their mistakes, what else do they want them to do? Seriously people, realize that by doing this you are NOT helping Junsu. Frankly, JYJ fans became known in the K-pop world as oversensitive, attacking at every little move and other fandoms view as as agressive, unable to compromise and firey headed. Shouting angry demands at every little mistake is not making JYJ lovers be in a good light. Fans need to learn the limits too. Can you imagine how embarrassing this is for Junsu when he meets his fellow actors? That his fans basically attack anyone who makes a mistake? As if Junsu cannot make a mistake. Or the fans themselves. We need to learn to be more cool headed and concentrate on fights that REALLY matter. and not jump on the anger bandwagon every time something small happens. People cannot prevent these mistakes from happening, it’s not like you can steer Junsu anywhere. He is a grown up person, perfectly capable of defending himself when he feels he needs to be defended. Respect.
Yes Heren fixed their mistake only after the fans pointed out.
And everything would have settled down if only people didn’t lie or insult the fans and junsu publicly which made things more complicated then it should have been.
I know there are times where even I think some fans are overreacting but I think this is an issue that DOES MATTER.
If nobody pointed out the misunderstanding people will just take what’s given to them.
Just look at the manager’s response.
Even though he should know that just a small portion of the fandom acted immature and said horrible things, he groups them with the whole fandom and believes junsu fans are all “assholes”. And what’s more he then starts to think fans=junsu. I doubt that his the only person in this world who thinks like that. Thus if people especially in the musical world thinks the same as the manager who’s going to be blamed if junsu doesn’t get the right treatment because nobody decides to point out the misunderstanding?
Fans who love junsu and these same people who also love the musical whether it’s thanks to junsu or not applauded at the end of the show because they were touched and grateful to the actors/actresses for a wonderful performance. But to be treated as if they clapped because they had bad feelings toward the actress (they never did) and suddenly came to accept her after the show is pretty ridiculous.
After all, most of the people who come to the show are in the twenties, thirties, and some forties and they too get angry when they’re treated for what they are not.
Overall everyone makes mistakes but it doesn’t mean they should leave those mistakes as it is because why? When you have the ability to fix them and when these are ruining other people’s reputation?
I agreed with you. We are not purposely blow this out of proportion. Mistake by emotional 17 years old might be ok, but mistakes by senior actress and manager that should know what good public image means, it is a bit shameful… What kind of people EMK recruiting? Instead handling the matter diplomatically, the manager acted like 17 years hot blooded old high school boy… EMK sure has overpaid him…
Soft reminder: Junsu, Jaejoong or Yoochun fans are not merely 17 years old school boys and girls. We are not assholes and neither our JYJ. Most of us are older, financial stable, have good career, and some of us are somebody in our world. So if you want to become manager to some artist please polish your manner and diplomatic skill…
well said . especially the soft reminder. we are not 17 year old fans . we are professionals and well noted in our careers. All those managers should take note it does not happen in the future .
Have anyone here seen EMK official statement regarding this issue?
More than anything, I hope that Junsu and Ock Juhyun will still work together for the next round of Elisabeth, because Ock Juhyun is perfect as Elisabeth, and Junsu is of course the perfect Tod
I’ll always support both of them
@ Dear Flower, Junsu’s fans never opposed to any actress working with Junsu, C-jes has also confirmed this in their statement that they have never recieved any objections from fans regarding Ock Juhyung. It was a lie said by Robert the director during the interview, maybe he wanted to make Ock look like a heroine who gone through difficulty but won everyone’s heart including her opposers ect to make readers emotions head towards her, this is a promotional method used by who wants to gather attention to the celebrity they want to make famous, promote by invent a sad story to gain more supporter to the celebrity, but in this case Junsu’s fans were used. The director seems to have wanted to gain his actress popularity by putting her in the image of a heroine, on the expense of Junsu’s fans reputation. The fans were shocked and thought the magazine was publishing the wrong info Deliberately, but the magazine showed the fans proof that it was the EMK staff who said that, and Heren just publish it. The director was the one who created the lie, and Ock Juhyung was there listening not objecting, instead made it seem like she was agreeing with the director, the fans confronted her on twitter asking for explanation and she lied saying that [What? Heren must have mistranslated, I can’t wait to see what Heren has to say/correct this] something like that . But the fans got response from Heren regarding the interview and realized she was lying and in fact she knew the exact words. she tried to throw it on Heren to make herself not involved in contributed to the false information.
Now do you understand?
Besides, the director said illogical things. Referring to audience as Junsu fans is wrong. No one can distinguish members of the audience as Junsu fans during the clapping . JYJ fans, fans from other fandoms supporting Junsu, musical lovers, even fans of other celebrities who are not Junsu fans , even Ock Juhyung’s fans . Maybe the ones clapping for Ock were Ock’s fans and the director deluded himself with their identity and intentions behind the clap for Ock. Just saying one cannot really distinguish, allot of celebrities were present and have their own fans, all are part of the audience, you won’t know who from who, does he know their names too? It’s not possible for him or correct to refer to the audience as Junsu fans. And it’s even more illogical for him to know what was in audience hearts to say they felt guilty so are clapping harder to show their regret of opposing Ock for acting with Junsu.
opposing an actress to work with Junsu has never been Junsu’s fandom’s attitude, they are in their twenties around Junsu’s age and are mostly quiet fans. I don’t recall they ever made a statement requesting apology like this ever before. They don’t even make any demands as far as I know.
Besides all they asked was for Heren to correcting false content because its a lie. It also damages fans’s image to readers of Heren, thiey could say this Junsu has nasty fans, we sympathize with Ock, you see it clear use, the fans dislike being treated like this for the sake of promoting Ock in this way. Then they realize 3 EMK staff have lied about them, used them, and tried to cover it. they got angry, and this is enough to provokes some to reply to Ocks manager after it was clear she lied to cover up the incident , even tried to make it seem that Heren was in the wrong. Angry tweets to OCk’s manager, from a few fans was inevitable, they started it not the fans, and didn’t apologize , instead the manager called Junsu an asshole like his fans.
I believe fans should have ignored the manager, forget Ock, the director, and everything .
BUT, I just want Heren to correct the wrong info in the magazine to it’s readers, about Junsu’s fans because the readers of Heren would not know it’s false, as in never happened. Heren must know that the director has told Heren a lie, therefore must acknowledge the false info it have been fed, in order for it to correct the wrong piece of info the director has fed Heren.
Both C-jes and fans have showed desire about correcting the false info in the magazine. So the readers won’t be mislead. The director, the manager and OCk can be ignored even if the fans are wounded, they must ignore for Junsu’s sake. If the magazine corrects the false info, that will be enough. If not, then no one can say we haven’t asked, C-jes also asked. we don’t need apologies as much as the false info in the magazine to be removed. Everything can be ignored but even if the info is not removed, well at least we asked. I just hope Heren respond, it’s really not right to leave wrong info in your magazine when its been clarified to you its wrong, and false information, they have duty to correct after knowing the truth. C-jes confirmed that Junsu’s fans never objected about Ock and as for what seems to me, EMK will also be publishing a statement to clarify Junsu fans have not made any complaint to EMK objecting to Ock acting with Junsu.
Hope it’s clear for you now Flower. And by the way, how are you ?
Don’t be upset, just ignore the whole issue. I feel hurt about all this too, not sure what to do but ignore. hope all fans not throw any curse words or any bad words no matter how hurt, angry, and upset anyone is about any incident, bad words only make things worse and makes others who attacked first reply with far more worse. I know that some EMK staff started all this first, but we must keep calm Especially when we are Most angry, especially what words we say. Asking apology is legitimate language but cursing/bad words is not and will only be used against us or replied to us worse when it’s us who were hurt by their behavior first. Just saying, you want to remain victorious all the way, keep a very cool, calm, leveled head despite inner emotions towards the offender.
Kalus! I’m so glad to see your post. How are you? So happy you are back and i hope and pray you are well and healthy and happy. Runs up and back hugs Kalus.
Thanks @Cheryl for the warm welcome, I welcome the hug and hug you back. Hope you, and everyone ells is doing fine. I missed a sea of news, so I’m browsing around right now. Thanks again for the warm welcome and I’m glad you, Flower, and other fans are still around here too. I missed you too.
@Kalus welcome back, so glad you are back!! I hope you are well and happy!! Thank you so much for replying to my questions so detailed. The issue is clear to me now, thanks so much for your help!!!!! However, one thing I am still not clear on is if this issue happened with Junsu playing in Elizabeth now or when he played in it last year. WHen did this issue come out?
@Flower, fans didn’t know about the magazine content until recently because a fan seems to have read the July edition just recently these days and shared the content now.
Ok I’m still a little confused .. Ok why did it blow up like that ?? My head hurts lol
Is there any simplier explanation?
thanks for the detailed account , i have suspected the tweet must be related to Ok juhyun /director inteview, but never got the picture as i dont understand Korean at all
Yeah I am still a little confused too.
I knew from the tweets but good to have a detailed account of the whole issue. Manage to get a clearer picture now. thanks
So… is it the magazine’s bad press and contents, or is it the manager’s insult, or are the fans really creating trouble? Doesn’t matter. These issue does not need to be so big. It’s affecting everyone’s (musical actors and staffs) moods. Anyone trying to stir shit should just stop.

agreed. it’s made big than it first started.
but its not like i dont understand. they tarnished the fans rep. the kfans just want it be cleared. i guess.
1+
I’m really confused of what was stated in this post. Hope some will post a simple explanation and will shed light to this issue. Thank you.

i get(not accept) the gossip mongers, the rude people, the misleading media and even the misunderstood director. this is such world.
but i didnt get this “Ock was present at the interview. I don’t understand why she lied.” either. o.o
So according to the other post this issue is regarding Junsu’s performance in Elizabeth last year.
there’s nothing new about how korean media is always so shitty.
i’d like to hear some apology from the magazine and the manager. thats all.
we all know how some fans tends to be, but that’s no excuse for the manager for such words.
i guess, i’m not as angry as i would have.. have i not read junsu’s tweet first. this. it’s a lousy world. we just need to hang on.

Respect.
@xiaolongimnida
I’ll always support both of them
Can someone explain something to me:
Why was some of the fans supposely opposing Ock Juhyun working with Junsu?
Where did they make their objections, on SNS?
Did this issue start when Junsu played in Elizabeth last year or did it start with him in the musical this year?
