Hello.
This is CJeS Entertainment.
JYJ are currently working as honorary ambassadors of the Incheon Asian Games 2014 (hereafter IAG). This past February, the organizing committee of IAG has claimed about the background of choosing JYJ as honorary ambassadors, “For spreading awareness of the IAG’s across the nation and promoting it globally, we appointed JYJ who are gaining popularity throughout Asia as its ambassadors.”
Yesterday, <2013 Incheon Hallyu Tourism Concert (Hangeul): Incheon Korean Music Wave 2013 (English)> was held with a purpose of wishing for the success of the IAG. But its ambassador, JYJ did not attend the concert. Of course, we have raised a formal objection to the organizing committee because, from a common-sense point of view, it is unacceptable for JYJ, honorary ambassadors of the IAG, not to attend the event which has to do with promoting the IAG. After then, the IAG organizing committee agreed on our opinion and firmly requested the IAG’s organizer, supervisor, host broadcaster, etc. to make a change in the cast list of the event.
Even after that, the IAG organizing committee, who was informed from the Incheon Development & Tourism Corporation (hereafter IDTC, formerly known as the Incheon Urban Development Corporation) that it is impossible to have JYJ at the event, clearly stated their view and requested again that it’s not that they want JYJ to perform at the concert, but to take part in the event program to introduce the IAG and announce their overseas promotional activities that will start in the latter half of this year on the stage because JYJ are the ambassadors of the IAG and the event is held for wishing for success of the IAG. However, the host broadcaster MBC and the supervisor IDTC notified that it is impossible, again, even though the organizing committee’s request was the IAG promotion related.
This past July, the Korean Fair Trade Commission (hereafter KFTC) issued corrective orders to the organizations, who have been systematically obstructing JYJ’s broadcast activities, to cease their obstructive actions. But as you see from this case too, a TV station is still obstructing JYJ’s broadcast activities irrespective of the legitimate reason. It is revealed that the entertainment industry is dominated by the strength of a giant entertainment management company and repeating unfair action despite the KFTC’s corrective orders.
2 years ago, JYJ experienced a similar case while having promotional activities as honorary ambassadors of Jeju Island’s 7 Wonders. But, even then, JYJ fulfilled their roles and duties as honorary ambassadors despite the concerns. It will be the same this time, too. JYJ are going to do their best to spread the excellence of the Korean culture and to raise the awareness of the IAG 2014 as its honorary ambassadors by making a tour of several Asian countries. Also, even without a ceremonial performance that is only specious, JYJ will carry out their responsibilities as genuine cultural ambassadors to promote Incheon city of Asia.
Lastly, we express our deep gratitude for the IAG organizing committee and mayor of Incheon city’s big efforts that they acknowledge both national and international values of the IAG’s honorary ambassadors JYJ despite facing the utter nonsensical external pressure, and tried their best to redress an injustice until the very end.
We announce JYJ’s overseas promotional activities of the IAG 2014 as follows:
– Singapore Roadshow – Conference video interview (September 26)
– Vietnam Roadshow – Media Event and Cultural Events (October 24)
– Guangzhou Roadshow – Media Event and Cultural Events (November 21)
– the Asian Games 100th Anniversary Media Event in Boracay (the end of November)

we’ll be waiting for you in Boracay!
Something needs to give here. This is a very well written statement. I hope it is picked up by both Korean and international media and that the KFTC slaps heavy fines on MBS and the “entertainment giant” behind this injustice.
Satisfied enough even just for people to recognize and acknowledge both national and global value of JYJ . . . Truly our boys and C-jes are not greedy people only thinking of what they will gain but they do things for the love of their country too . . . JYJ fighting. . . . God knows your hearts . . . C u in Boracay 🙂
Can we have a protest group while they are having the event in these various countries? Can we gather our army and make a protest there? OMG…this will be nasty !!!
Will wait you JyJ in boracay :))
Excited much..
What is Korean Fair Trade Commission (hereafter KFTC) next move after the corrective orders to the organizations, especially the TV stations of which ,still obstructing JYJ’s broadcast activities ?
Felt so angry! calm down…if CJES and JYJ can accept it …we should too. But I still feel like bombing MBC station now and IDTC office! anyone I can hire to do that??
Waaaaaaa…….Me angry too. A side from bombing, can we do more subtle protest? This time we have to do it globally…not nasty…but professionally….. THINK…THINK…THINK….
We should hack korean media and put JYJ’s MV and music… x))
Yeap, need to do something… How can they arrogantly ignore the request of the public as if they own the whole world…. This is the reason, I dont buy any SM artist records although I like some of them. Maybe we just should sponsor big banners and hung it everywhere asking why Korean media cannot let JYJ perform. Let the Korean people read it. All this while, the fight is only with us not extended to other people. Gathering need us to be there only on certain time but some of us are under work obligations. We have to be SEEN SOMEWHERE AND NO LONGER JUST NEED TO BE HEARD because they refuse to hear us. We have to drag natural people in Korea to be aware of how corrupted their entertainment industry. But our champion has to be Korean, as they will advise us whether our strategy is correct or not, or illegal.
Illegally, I prefer to take a flight to Korea tomorrow, find a way to Sm building, buy myself tons of red paint, wait until dark, and throw paint at their outer wall. “take take you leeches blood sucking creature…”
Hmm… hacking is not bad, only if i know how. Maybe some of our sisters and brothers are already on it, and some with cash already hired other people to do it. We are very protective of our guys…
Fans, pls vote for JYJ at this website named KPOP World Wide. You can vote 19 times a day. Pls giv tat 19 votes to JYJ. https://apps.tradablebits.com/tb_app/327837
I feel hurt inside ~~~
JYJ stays strong, we will always stand by you ~
are they really going to boracay?! Anybody going? should we do a meet up? OMG i’m palpitating!
If only…Boracay is near Manila…haaisst!
i think i will have to gather all my resources and book that flight to boracay at whatever cost, it’s not my favorite place though (too commercial i think). but i’ll go. to support JYJ and maybe relax. i hope there’s no sudden typhoon… hayz…. um can i come with you? ^_^;;;
damn… just realized its a media event. hayz… but still i think it’ll be good if the fans would send a letter concerning the horrible treatment they’re receiving the ambassadors and all.
I hope South Korea realises the rest of the world is seeing more and more and it’s not looking good for them.
This is one of the reasons my girls are currently on holiday in Japan and not South Korea.
More so than ever now, my money, my daughter’s and my mother’s (yes, she’s a fan too) will continue to get spent elsewhere and on JYJ items only.
ahhh.. lucky for you, many fans in vietnam, guangzhou and philipine (boracay).. you can meet JYJ..
aisshhh.. I want to go there… 🙂
yahoo…..JYJ Welcome to the Philippines!!!! We will wait for you!!! Please drop by at Manila too..coz I’m not sure if my work will allow me to go to Boracay.. 😦
Anyways by just knowing this GOOD NEWS..my heart goes…lovethem…lovethem…lovethem!!!!!
yay!!! finally JYJ in the Philippines!!!!! but im so far from BORACAY!!!!! so costly to be there…. Ill find a way….
you’re right! how I wish I could meet them at Boracay…or even have a handshake with Chunnie. Oh gosh! Otoke?!
CJES and JYJ are soooo humble. More power to JYJ.
This makes me soooo sad. In our times to see this unfair and unholy blacklisting that is being sanctioned not only by the broadcast companies but by all of the fellow “artists” that perform. Will no one stand for justice???? It just breaks my heart. I think the media has been better this year than any other and we should email and tweet this article to all of the news networks so that someone will bring some more attention to this praticular issue. Do the general public know that in their name as a Nation these small group of thugs are using even International Games to slap JYJ. Is this how they want their country to be acting in front of the whole world? Maybe if we band together and make enough of a story out of it in every country/region they visit people will see that even though it appears that Korea is fine with this injustice the rest of the world is watching.
” It will be the same this time, too. JYJ are going to do their best to spread the excellence of the Korean culture ”
Exactly what “excellence” are we referring to here?? the “excellence” of Korean corporate corruption and influence so pervasive that even after repeated court orders and KFTC rulings and warnings this kind of blacklisting continues unabated, blatantly, right out in the open, even when the IAG and the mayor of Incheon attempt not one but several interventions to right this latest wrong and none of it makes one bit of difference??? I agree with Superfangirl, this latest outrage and every single person who participated in that concert ought to be ashamed of themselves.
No concert but they will have JYJ do the global promotions? Aigoo. Anyway, that is good to know. But wae is it just a video conference for my country?! Life sux~
If they would come, I would give anything to go see them live again! T^T
MBC? That Morons-Butthead-Corrupted tv station? Forget about them. Not worth our precious time. I don’t even want to know about the concert the moment they said JYJ won’t involved.
Well, can’t blame those tv stations since SM’s artistes are the cheapest…(and cheap things easily rotten in no time).
JYJ, please keep moving forward!
How JYJ and C-Jes face the problem/restrictions against them and still pursuing their duties and responsibilities as IAG Ambassadors only proves how PROFESSIONAL THEY ARE. Go JYJ prove to them that you are far above from them, as to values, professionalism and of level. JYJ fighting!!
But…after confirming that they’re coming to Boracay…oh gosh! I’ve got goosebumps!!If only Boracay is near to Manila…:-( waahhhh anybody there who can bring me to Boracay?!!!!-feeling helpless..
I’m trying to keep calm.
A civilized riot or march protest can be made in-front of Broadcast stations. I think if an organised march, protest gathering in front of one of the biggest broadcast stations in SK. That would not only gather national attention but also international media to JYJ’s case. Successful singers not invited to perform on any music/entertainment broadcast shows, Ambassadors not allowed broadcast ? It’s time this un-just ban be brought to international conscious, Another way is by using the Asian IAG event as the outlet to get media attending those events to cast light on these protest demanding SM to stop it’s interference in blocking JYJ’s TV broadcast appearance on music/entertainment shows, and to ask broadcast stations to give JYJ fair chance to promote their music on TV via music/entertainment shows. Make banners and let the camera’s at IAG see the protest against JYJ’s bann situation, BUT do so in a civilized manner to reflect the fandom’s proper reputation. Express, speak truth, but in civilized proper language and manner to not harm JYJ’s reputation.
I’m gonna try writing to MBC. has anybody tried? I went to their website but everything’s in Korean, and I’m unsure if they accept foreign emails. I went to their global website but there are too many email addresses there. Anyone knows if there is a direct email add?
its really “small” of sm to cash in on JYJs efforts and good name by stopping them from participating fully and letting their own artists do absolutely nothing by way of endorsing or promoting such events, yet just showing up and getting the limelight for what? for stopping others who have the right to be there and acting all important like they actually belong there? sm is laughable. sounds like a plot in a kdrama. and i don’t have to say which ones are the bad guys.:)
JYJ is being pushed away again by their own country. Let’s make them the international citizens.
This is not funny or even remotely business like but do not worry JYJ will have the last laugh…..
I’m proud of CJes. Even in the face of unfairness practiced by the Koran entertainment industry, they continue to show grace under pressure and remain a class act. Good for you! Show them how to do it!
I am glad to see that I lot of us here know that we can’t be silent in the face of such open injustice. The courts ruled in their favor so many times that this continued blacklisting is not only illegal it’s reaching levels of absurdity! I agree with KALUS that an organized campaign that illustrates the dignity and respect of JYJ is a necessity. Just imagine if these guys go for their military service and come back to this same BS For The Rest Of Their Careers?!!! It’s unacceptable. Maybe a http://www.change.org/ pettition that we share with all the Intl and Domestic fans about this particualr issue would be a great thing for those who can’t attend a public protest but the games are going to be covered by the Intl Asian Media and there should be groups from these fanclubs standing up for what is right and standing up for JYJ!
@Superfangirl
Hi – I share your concerns, tremendously so. Frankly it is shocking to me how many comments there are on this topic merely fangirling over JYJ showing up in Boracay. What the hell!? Are these three talented artists ever going to be allowed to sing together again on the same stage? Not if the extent of one’s fan appreciation is so superficial that a mere fleeting sighting is enough for them to call it a day.
What has just happened here is gravely and shockingly WRONG. This should not and will not stand. But due to the recent in-fighting and angry words exchanged here on JYJ3 as a result of the 2 part, SINGLE person’s (who happened to be an EX-admin of Herose) bitter memoir of C-jes’ alleged most recent failings, people here have now reverted to apathy so good luck gaining ground trying to “unite the extended fandom” to do anything positive that might actually benefit JYJ in the long run. Foolish people here have played right into SM’s hands. They have allowed this fandom to fragment into pieces and have now decided to go to war with each other to right imagined wrongs of individual members, even though those members themselves have neither said nor exhibited ANY unhappiness with C-jeS and what they have done so far.
EVER.
Instead of uniting to do something powerful, in significant numbers, now there are only factions warring among themselves. One would almost think that the organizers/prime movers of these wars were employed by SM, so skillful and effective are their methods and outcome.
My friend butterfliesarefree has had a number of exceedingly good ideas as to what to do next. I hope she will have the good grace to post them here at some point. If she doesn’t it’s because she is 100% sure these ideas will fall on deaf ears. In that case, they may be found here:

OMG they are going to Boracay (Philippines)? Why am I in Canada???
Korea choose the victim of unfair game to be the ambassador of an event that suppose to be the epitome of fairness. Hope sisters from Philippine will come with some ideas to deliver our concern to the media and other related parties. Maybe you could write a concern letter to Korean ambasador in your country and cc it to the media?
We could try to start addressing our concern to Korean embassy. They are the representation of SK president in each respective countries. Usually Embassies and Ambassadors are extremly concern about what the citizen of the country think about SK (or whatever country thry represent). They have to make reports to the foreign minister office and they reprts were taken seriously. I mean we can try to pull this issue into the political arena. Hopefully it will garner more serious attention if they see that this is not just a mere “non serious issue of the entertainment”. If you notice, most of Amnesty International protests ussually addressed to or take place in front of the embassies.
@fineday500
I have written to the Korean embassy here in Los Angeles in the recent past about this issue. I will do so again. I urge all posters here to write to the embassy in your area. Maybe if enough of us do they will “spot a trend.”
think it would be good if the fans from each country where they will drop off to hold their concert to write letters to their respective SK embassy regarding this issue, that the treatment of JYJ is not a very noble reflection of SK government or SK as a nation, considering that they are the ambassadors of their own country.
WHAT THE F! I’m sorry C-JES, but allowing JYJ to continue to act as “ambassadors” to this thing is purely crap! What the “F”.
@loveunchanged
I agree. I would have pulled them immediately from any future appearances and filed for an injunction to stop them using the video. This is really really unacceptable. Once again, JYJ gets publically slapped in the face and then made to act like it’s OK, it doesn’t hurt.
see you in Boracay! im living in Davao but i will get a ticket for Boracay.. see u there…. what station? anyone knows?
Finally in Boracay! I’ll make sure to have time to travel in Boracay that’s the nearest place i could meet them personally see you soon JYJ!!!!
Impossible to have JYJ at the event? kiss my ass! Then what for being an ambassador? poor our boys, they just knowing using their name..I feel terribly hurt for them..till when? damn! How I wish I have a superpower and can do something to those craps! this is so poor and so cheap~~~~
Reblogged this on JYJ's Fan Worlds and commented:
GO JYJ!!!!
Prove it again to those people that you guys gonna keep moving on despite those ridiculous people tried to block u up…..
i believe that there are gonna be more people who gonna appreciate and respect to you.
like 7 wonders case before…..after this i believe there are gonna be another event which more big than this…..GO JYJ!!!!!
Ok, South Korea, same S**T, different day.
some time I feel JYJ treat Korea like ” no choice – parent” ( like I use to learn went I was a kid) and Korea treat them like “fake parent”…I think my country maybe the more poor than Korea, the government more tricker than Korea but at least they better when they don’t want you they don’t use you, if you can show your face on the important think special country event like this, I mean you will got all honors, its very clear. But the thing happen with JYJ like this, same again and again really I think only in Korea and really get on my nerves O_o.
@anva1
Your take sounds like the adage…”You can’t choose your relatives…” All countries and cultures have their issues. Some good, some bad. But what I find most distressing about this situation in particular, is the message it sends to its young people. That their hopes, dreams, and aspirations come only at the mercy of the powerbrokers. Cross this line and you pay. It continues the meme of ownership of individuals. Their lives are not their own. To supposedly be a forward thinking, highly developed country, SK seems hell bent on trashing its reputation without any concern how it looks to anyone else. So much for saving face. But despite all this, I still believe the day will come when SK will be forced to address this issue. If for not any other reason, good does triumph over evil. It always has. 😉
