I’m among friends here, so I can ask. On the red carpet, the announcer seemed to ask Jaejoong to take off his jacket, then held it for him and seemed to ask him to pose for the camera and fans…..doing the “I love you” heart from side to side…..then asked him to sing. Is this an ordinary thing to happen on S. Korea red carpet….was it planned by P.R…..or do they just know that Jaejoong is so easy going, that he will do what any one tells him to do…
I woke up at 4:30 am to watch and luckily someone had marked the spot on the video…I missed by 15 minutes…..so was I too sleepy and confused…..please tell me was this the thing that everyone did? I only watched Jaejoong on the red carpet?

No dear…its not weird…He is not the only one who sang there by the way…there is another artist who sang too…if u watched the whole red carpet event…
Jae was the most focused one cuz his fans were like conquering the event : inside and outside of the event and not only Korean fans there were also International fans standing up there….So MC knew that he was the most wanted one and she did lots of fanservice that were alot out there waiting for him patiently….
This is just my opinion. (as I am not from South Korea) The mc has noticed JJ international fans had waited eagerly for him. I notice the western black and white girl, one noona that look like she is from South America, Japanese and Korean fans, and inside I notice a few ladies wearing head cover sitting with JJ fans group. They probably either from arabsfanclub or Malaysia/ Indonesia/ Singapore/ Thailand or Brunei as these country have muslim (Religion: Islam) population that requires their ladies to cover their head. (My guess maybe Indonesia since JJ is quite famous in Indonesia). One waving the flag, and if I not mistaken that is the flag Israel. That one I am not sure whether she is JJ fans or just showing off her country flag.
I guess the MC wants JJ to entertain his international fans that come across the globe just to see the glimpse of him.. Just to fill their heart content and to see them happy to know he is happy to receive the award. Hence the heart sign, the taking off jacket and the 1 minutes song..
Just my opinion anyway..

There are some Chinese screaming his name in Mandarin too. With so many JJ’s supporters, the MC is doing herself a great service and gaining many compliments from JJ’s fans around the world.
