Having come to the final stop of his tour, JYJ’s Kim Junsu is receiving hot responses from the fans in Japan.
From October 14 to 16, Kim Junsu will continue his Japanese tour at the Yokohama Arena, following last week’s Nagoya performance.
On October 15, a C-JeS Entertainment staff stated, “This is Kim Junsu’s first Japanese solo tour and the response is hot. There are 60,000 seats for the Nagoya and Yokohama performances, and three times the fans swarmed in for tickets, completely selling out.”
“Also, as fans heard that concert goods were sold out in Nagoya, fans began lining up early in the mornings at the Yokohama concert. The goods are sold one per person, so fans waited since the morning. All the concert days are on a week day, but the halls were completely full with fans, cheering Kim Junsu’s first Japanese tour.”
The satisfaction of Japanese fans was high as well.
Yamada Keiko (36), who resides in Osaka’s Tsuruhashi, commented, “I was upset that I missed the last concert, so I am very happy with this tour. Junsu’s music has sincerity that rings the heart. It’s hard to explain how moving it is.”
Eimi (24) from Saitama also said, “Kim Junsu sang Tsubomi and said he came to meet us. You could feel the love he has towards fans. I hope that he can hurry and release an official album in Japan.”
A staff member said, “You could see a lot of young fans in middle school and high school that came to buy goods. Even without Japanese promotions for three to four years, we believe new fans joined the crowd of supporting fans after hearing Junsu’s solo album.”
