Is it just me or did anyone else find this kind of symbolic? Darkness wanting to close in. Jaejoong with his head down. Light erupting from/near him, banishing the darkness from the path he walks on.
I dont know…but I usually find the things he does to have a second,more deeper meaning than what is first intended. I may be wrong and it may be something entirely different but seeing this gives me more impatient feels!!!
BTW….can anyone tell me where I can pre-order his new album? I really really want it!!!!! I hated it that I was too late for the mini album and I know I can always find the songs online but I want to support him. Its not about the money…I just want him to know that here are people out there willing/wanting/needing to listen to his surreal voice over and over again

The photo is so beautiful, it teases our poetic or metaphoric imagination. Jaejoong is really a very intelligent man supplemented by his wide range of reading materials. Just a single photo, looks like a painting, an art masterpiece, the tilt of his head, his hand, his step, every detail is so well thought of, the color combination…excellent!

I stare a little while on the photo, if there’s a painting of that image I can proudly display that on my living room, nobody will know it’s from Kpop origin, lol.
Looking closely on the color progression, it’s inspiring, the man seems down and wounded within but the light promises hope.

sis, you have the gift of sharing with sense and sensibility 😀 yes, the image has both positive & clouded impression. another yes, it’s artistic as a painting, i’m awed at the concept, chincha! since the release of album images, i’ve been walking with feet above the grounds, floating somewhere ( in simple comprehension, babaeng nawawala sa sarili, lol! )
I thought it will be a video teaser when they said it back then -.- But the pic though…. I don’t know, it makes me feel funny in the stomach. It’s indescribable….
I get the feeling his album might be about healing or something for some reason. Healing, overcoming, rising……well it’s just my guess, so I will have to wait with all of you for the album.
Sometimes I just get the feeling that Jae carries heavy burdens or wounds sometimes. I think we get glimpses of it now and then in his tweets. Like sometime he tweets out of no where about trying to stay cheerful or positive. I think he can’t tell the fans everything obviously, so sometimes he just give hints.
He is a human being who has wounds like anyone else, being banned in your own country, the separation from TVXQ an that loss of those friendships, and even though he loves his family very much, he must at least have some difficult feelings inside about his birth parents……well these might be a lot of wounds for him, you never know.
Jaejoong, I know you will rise above everything. The love of you fans and your beautiful music you make will carry you.
the wounds you said may be healed but not forgotten. like us, just when we thought some things were already behind us, but if circumstances blow us to the test of will & courage and requites those pains, our hearts hurt anew. we tend to forget the happy pain (also physical) like childbirth but emotional pain leaves hanging scar that another pain will cut deep onto it making the wound bigger and deeper. to some person and personality, pile of pains become emotional trauma.
from what i can sense, Jae is holding strong, he knows how to reach the hands of those he trusts even happy or troubled. the feeling of emptiness may visit him anytime that’s why he absorbs in work and business. for me, the way he is to fans is likened to a child, constant comfort, encouragement, assurance that he’s loved and the way he shares too is his way of insisting his presence as if meaning < as long we're together, i'm fine 🙂

i agree with your interpretation of the symbolic nature of this artstic picture, but just to add one more point; the road where he stands seems to be well illuminated, that is, he knows where he is coming from and he knows where he is going; he is truthful to himself and to what he stands for in life. no regrets and no doubts.
