[NEWS] JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong to Release His ‘Butterfly’ Early
Following his Sunny Day, JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong will be releasing Butterfly ahead of his album reveal.
On October 17, C-JeS Entertainment announced that the official date of release for Kim Jae Joong’s first album, WWW: Who, When, Why will be October 29. Ahead of the album release, Kim Jae Joong will be unveiling another pre-released song.
The song will be Butterfly, which has a simple melody that anyone can sing along to with a touch of Korean rock.
Kim Jae Joong personally participated in the writing of the lyrics, pouring his passion into the song.
Butterfly will be pre-released on October 23.

Oh my, now I’m getting excited. It’s a ROCK SONG!! Yaaayy.. I hope the title track will be a rock song too. Can’t wait to hear “Butterfly”. Very curious to how it sounds like. I hope the composer is as good as Kim Bada. I’m bit worry because Huoi-jang is not a rock music composer” Or is he? The songs he composed for Junsu are pop ballads, “One Kiss” was composed by a true veteran rocker, hence the rock feels in “One Kiss” is very deep. . Damn, “One Kiss” set a standard too high.
I hope JJ is not holding himself back just to satisfy general public. I’d like him to be all out and adventurous. Exploring his musicality to the max. But it’s just me ^__^

Kim Jae-joong to Show Rock Spirit Next Week
K-pop giant JYJ’s Kim Jae-joong will pre-release another tune from his upcoming first studio album.
Kim confirmed to release next Wednesday “Butterfly,” set to be listed in his upcoming record “WWW: Who, When Why” to be out on October 29, his agency C-Jes Entertainment said in a press release Thursday.
Written its lyrics by the pop star himself, “Butterfly” is a song with powerful rock spirit and strong tempo in simple melody line, C-Jes explained.
“Kim doesn’t lose his self-confidence and sincerity throughout the work. His sharp yet tender and delicate sentiment is well-delivered through the song,” said the song’s composer Huoi-jang-nim who wrote XIA’s “Don’t Leave” and “Sorry.”
The first pre-released ballad “A Sunny Day” from Kim’s first full-effort, dropped this Tuesday, made strong debut on Korean real-time music charts and iTunes single chart in Japan, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

First thing I thought of when I heard the title Butterfly was it coming out of its coccoon and flying free. Jaejoong really is telling a story with not only his songs but also with the song titles. Ah symbolic, and very much appropriate to the plight of the man singing it.
Next thing I thought was that this is a marketing strategy. Sure he cant promote and all that jazz BUT he can make the news right? so why not get himslf promoted that way? He tops charts, fans go crazy and he appears on the news, his new album gets promoted anyways….so maybe this is a newtype of marketing strategy….ala Kim Jaejoon style
