The Gaon Album Chart are a set national charts that ranks the best-selling albums, including mini-albums and singles, in South Korea, provided by the Korea Music Content Industry Association. The charts are made up of charts tracking domestic album sales, international album sales and a combined overall album sales in weekly, monthly and year-end format.

I’m quite very late to catch up the news, few days ago, I got info in TList that WWW sold abt 60K n out of stock again in SK n the restock will b on Nov 7th (it’s today LOL). I happened to read this news n got me so surprised n happy to find the album surpass 100 K in 9 days yay… But the album indeed so amazing. I don’t need to be bias to like this album. For everyone who likes rock songs, this album is absolutely a must n really every worth every penny. Btw I’m still waiting for my album to come, so exited…

sales in gaon and hanteo is counted differently…gaon shud be more than hanteo usually
Hanteo and Gaon have different system of calculation. If I’m not mistaken Hanteo only counts album sold in certain places. usually big wellknown ones. CD sold in small stores are not counted. While Gaon counts everything. If you look at his I/Y albums there’s also big differences between Gaon and Hanteo calculation.
This 103 k is only for October selling. I want to know their to date figure. “I” was sold 140 k copies. I guess WWW will surpass “I”

Gaon counts shipments (i.e. # of units distributed* to sellers, not from sellers to customers); at the end of the year or a certain period, Gaon will subtract from total shipments the total return to better represent what is actually sold. (Since what is shipped is what sellers predict will sell but may or may not sell. In the latter case, they may be returned.)
In Jaejoong’s case, if you add the figures from Hanteo and Oricon, it’s not too far from the Gaon figures
