Translator’s Note: I also posted trivial stuff on Twitter, but here let me move only the things that are worth keeping a record. Most of them are what I transcribed from Korean fans’ audio or their live tweets and then translated in English.
Butterfly
“Butterflies chase only after showy and honeyed things. If they’re human, they must be meretricious and superficial people. So it [my song Butterfly] is a paradox that I talk to myself ‘Don’t be such person. Be concern about inner beauty, too.’”
Why ‘I’ [Jaejoong’s first-ever solo album]?
“I wanted to put MY sincerity of challenging rock for the first time into the album. It was about LOVE and the word ‘love’ in Japanese is [aɪ], so these things fell into place.”
Any plan to play an aucoustic guitar or a bass guitar?
“Actually I’m still learning how to play them, so I will probably perform a guitar on stage in the future. I play piano, but the reason why I don’t perform a piano on stage is because I might make mistakes.”
[INFO] November 11th, 12:35 PM JST, Jaejoong will have a radio appearance on Yokohama FM’s E-ne! good for you~ program.

JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong left for Japan for his concert in Yokohama, Japan.
According to a representative at C-JeS Entertainment on November 10, “Kim Jaejoong departed for Haneda Airport this morning in order to prepare for his concert at the Yokohama Stadium on November 15 and 16.”
The rep also stated, “Although his arrival in Japan was not publicly announced, about 700 fans were waiting for Kim Jaejoong at the airport. He will be rehearsing for his concert this weekend and will be meeting with 60,000 fans at the Yokohama Stadium next week.”
News mentioned that the Korean wave (Hallyu) is experiencing a crisis, especially the most important Japanese market which is being shaken. But there are also a few stars that have defied the trend and is continuing the lifeline for the Korean wave. Park Yuchun is the most representative one.
A Japanese official said that dramas with Park Yuchun in the lead role can sell at US$200,000 per episode in Japan. Besides Bae Yong Jun, the originator of Hallyu, only Park Yuchun and Jang Geun Suk can reach this standard of a Class A Hallyu star.
When the news that Park Yuchun is acting in ‘Three Days’ was released, it created a significant stir in markets from Japan and Asia to Europe; the production company has already received many love calls from overseas buyers; the scale of investment for ‘Three Days’ will be more than 10 billion won.
