How great! JYJ is alive and live in Japan. We will hear from them in 2014 because we will insist and we will not take no for an answer. By the time Junsu finishes “December” and Chunnie finishes “Sea Fog” I think the three will be ready to come back together and try one more time to be seen, to be counted as viable in SK. It’s been a tough and demoralizing year for them, no question. But their great talent is undeniable, their fans are there for them… we will make this happen.
Demoralizing because of less recognition in their own country? In my view they’ve had tremendous success overall.

Too right. Their success is at the top of every method of gaging fame and its resulting fortune you care to name. They almost can’t be doing better than they are now in my view also. But the guys themselves have expressed on many occasions that it distresses them terribly that they still can’t be on TV, etc. Especially for international fans like me, whether they are or aren’t on TV in Korea is kind of a moot point really. But they want it badly and so I’ve adopted the view of wanting it for them and also of trying to help them in any way I can to get them back to where they rightfully belong now that the lawsuit is long over.

erm… they will undoubtedly be always more than viable wherever they are, promotions or not. Its been a hugely successful year for all of them… in fact the only reason they could not get together to do a full album recently was due to their success in their solo fields.

I’m not sure I would go so far as to say it’s the only reason. I think doing any activities as JYJ anywhere in SK is still very very difficult. We’ve heard how angry, exhausted and frustrated Mr Baek has been in the past over the constant blocking everywhere he turns. I think that in addition to the members’ actually really being interested in pursuing the solo projects they did all this year, they were also making life easier for their management as it seems that as solo artists there is some willingness to let them work amid what has been the industry wide lockdown.

Hi there! I think because of the success in their solo activities, many fans have forgotten that they are still struggling to be recognised as a group in their own country, or worse have come to accept the blockage as normal. And I suspect many don’t care, as long as their bias is doing well in their individual pursuits. This is why JYJ has to come back, but I believe for the group album to be postponed time and again this year, something must have happened. Like with every passing year, i hope the next will be better for them as a group.

Hello, my friend. 🙂 I’m glad to see you. Yes, I understand that many single bias only fans no longer see the need to work for and hope for the group JYJ’s final vindication and release from the ban. To those of us who saw the fight they had on their hands and what they’ve had to endure throughout the lawsuit years it’s even more heartbreaking to know there are those who now take SM’s blacklisting of JYJ for granted as just how things are going to be. But many of us will never give up and never stop thinking of different ways to keep the members’ fight before the public’s eyes. Because you can be sure of one thing: the group JYJ are still fighting to come back whether we can see it or not.

It’s nice to see you too 🙂 I visit the standupforjyj site occasionally to see how i can help. You and your team are doing a great job in this fight for JYJ’s rights, and not giving up despite seeing how splintered the fandom has become. I’m encouraged to persevere in this fight, and i hope more will come aboard to do so as well.
