27. Kim Junsu = JYJ’s member Kim Junsu is now officially a musical actor. He is the best ticket-power blue chip as well. He made his musical debut in 2010 with ‘Mozart’ and showed off his power by making the last round of 3000 seats in Sejong Center for the Performing Arts theater sell out. From the original musical ‘Tears of Heaven’’s National Theatre to ‘Elisabeth’’s Seoul Arts Center he achieved the ‘Triple Crown’ by selling out all the national and public theatres.

but there is something that really bothers me – why is there no photo for our Junsu (refreshed the page of the original source twice just in case)? all the other leaders of Korean pop culture are listed with a photo. Junsu seems to be the only exception…
Oh i didn’t get my info from the source provided in this post. Got it from xiahpress tweet. They screencapped the article from the newspaper, all pics of the 30 are on it, so i’m happy 🙂 And i didn’t miss EXO, i just didn’t recognise them lol

anyway, i am so happy for him. Junsu totally deserves being on the list. this official recognition for his contribution for kpop in regard of his acting in musicals will be very gratifying for him with all the passion and devotion he has invested in them so far.
and December is only good things for JYJ
Besides GD and Lee Byung Hun who are singers/actors, the rest I think are mostly the head honchos in the entertainment industy.
@Only JYJ thanks for the info. The fact that most of the other people listed are head honchos in the entertainment industry. Also, with him having to fight to get what he deserves makes his ranking even more special and well deserved.
yup, other than GD, Junsu’s the only other idol on the list…but what I think Junsu himself will be thrilled about is the fact that he’s being recognized more so for being a musical actor than an idol star..
Yes definitely agree. Although i know he will always be appreciative of his legion of adoring fans, I think nowadays he is less focused on the popularity that comes with being an idol star. There is definitely a different kind of satisfaction with being acknowledged in a field that many have dared to venture but few have really succeeded.

I am happy for all three members of JYJ. Despite facing roadblocks, they are all making spectacular moves in their solo careers. Happy for Junsu. JYJ keeps pushing forward and they will not be defeated!
