Jaejoong collaborated with label mate Gummy once again for duet song “Heaven” which will be released along with his repackaged 1st full-length album on the 20th!
C-JeS Entertainment stated on the 13th, “Through his repackaged 1st full-length album to be released on the 20th, Jaejoong will release his duet song with Gummy. Jaejoong and Gummy’s duet song ‘Heaven’ is the title track for the repackaged album and an emotional pop ballad song. Jaejoong participated in writing the lyrics with ‘A Moment to Remember’ as the motif and with Gummy’s featuring, it is a track which showcases their beautiful harmony.”
The repackaged album also consists of the remake version of Japanese track “Makeup“, unreleased cuts, and a DVD featuring a making film from the “Just Another Girl” MV.
Pre-orders for the repackaged album will begin on the 13th and it will be released on the 20th!

[NEWS] JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong Sings Duet with Gummy for Repackaged Album
JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong will be releasing a duet with Gummy.
C-JeS Entertainment, the two artists’ agency, stated on January 13, “Kim Jae Joong will be releasing a duet with Gummy through his repackaged album, which is being released on January 20. The song, Heaven, is the title track of this album and it’s of a pop ballad genre.”
The agency rep also added, “Kim Jae Joong took part in writing the lyrics by taking motifs from the movie A Moment to Remember and Gummy beautifully featured on the song, creating a nice harmony.”
The repackaged album will also include a remake of the Japanese song Make Up, which was originally sung by Japanese singer-songwriter, Miyuki Nakajima. Kim Jae Joong’s version of the song is simpler than the original, consisting mostly of piano and string sounds.
The repackaged album will also include the unreleased cuts from the music video of Just Another Girl as well as a DVD containing music video and making of the video shots.
The repackaged album will be released on January 20, with pre-orders starting on January 13.

I Like Gummy and she is really sweet^^
Another problem with Gummy is that she doesn’t know how to sing duet (based on her live performance with JJ). JJ said countless time, the different between singing solo and in a group (with JYJ) is that when he sings in a group he has to restrain himself, so to not outrun each other and trying the best to maintain balance and harmony. To keep balance and harmony is the most important thing when singing duet or in group. I don’t see that when Gummy sang with JJ in JJ’s concerts. She’s trying very hard to be the loudest and the most prominent as if she wanted to win the show for herself. Even though she’s older she hasn’t yet reached the maturity the way JJ has.
I hope, since this is a studio one, the balance and harmony is improving.
Still disappointed though. I still wish JJ sings solo, or with a better partner, someone with his caliber. I’d love to see him sing duet with that rock girl, Mika Nakashima, the original singer of Glamorous Sky. I bet it’ll be daebak!!
Jae’s voice is and remains quite unusual. To sing his choice a duet with Gummy He has hit and I think that both could sound Harmonious already with each other. Melody and harmony is a wonderful song with expressive text which touched me very much. In general I look personally always very much after the text contents then one can recognise in it what respective artists internally moved. With Jae it is about interpersonal and love relations which stamped Him.

Its good- the repackaged album. Perhaps it will take some time for Jae to have a duet with Japanese singers I love like Mika Nakashima and Ayaka- maybe after his military service… I am willing to wait. Cheers!

Yes, it’s exciting how the two fandoms collide and join forces to support Heaven and both artists Jaejoong and Gummy!

Anyone of us can speak our own opinion, and my opinion might not be important to anybody. But don’t you think it’s a bit harsh on Gummy to speak about her like that?
Gummy is a good singer, and she definitely is a great duet partner too. Take a listen to her duet with Wheesung in “Special Love”, and no need to mention her duet with Junsu in “Sarangiraneun Iyuro”.
It requires effort from both parties to works on a duet, especially in a male vs female duet. I will still believe in both Jae’s and Gummy’s capability in making this duet works well. In a usual male – female duet, Jae might be need to works more on his lower/bariton register, while Gummy works the sopran. It will be a studio version, so I’m sure the production team will try to get the very best of the recording result.
Now I also want to rant, excuse me guys,… With all these Gummy versus JYJ member duets, I can’t help but want more singers to signed with CJeS. Imagine how much collaborations we could get! XD
Although that might not be the case, because we already have many collaborations in Junsu’s and Jaejoong’s albums. I’m actually hoping CJeS to get more and more singers to collaborate with JYJ/members.
Rather than hoping Gummy or their partner could miraculously bring them to appear on music show, I simply want JYJ to be exposed to many more composers, artists, singers in order to keep growing. I have given up on music show long time ago. (and by the way, I don’t know why I haven’t seen Gummy on music show since her new song promotion started, but her song ranked pretty good in kbs music bank).
God knows how much I want Junsu to join The Voice Avenue project (along with Younha, John Park, Urban Zakappa, etc), and how much I really hope for Jaejoong to participate in a Rock Festival. Both are not a broadcast, just merely a genuine music festival.
