No bracket means only 1
a + represents a live album
.5 represents repackages
if there are 2 repackages (only Teen Top in this category) then that becomes 1.
I counted VIXX’s special album with Y BIRD as .5
*** Kim Jaejoong released in 2013: Mini-Album “I” (1) + Repackage “Y” (0.5) + 1st Full Album “WWW” (1) = 2.5
*** Physical Sales: Mini-Album “I” (148,074) + Repackage “Y” (62,000) + 1st Full Album “WWW” (132,940) = 343,014

2012 List – CJeS ranked in 8th Place
*** CJeS: Kim Jaejoong (2.5) + XIA Junsu (1) = 3.5
*** Physical Sales: Kim Jaejoong (343,014) + XIA Junsu (90,787) + JYJ “In Heaven” (5,155) = 438,956
WOW! The sales figures are so awesome! Congratulations!
Keep going!
The C.Jes ranking is actually kind of pretty awesome/impressive when you consider the numbers. And the fact that it all pretty much came from two individuals.
This is truly amazing! Congrats Jaejoong, Junsu and C-JeS! I still can’t believe that C-JeS beat out JYP! Good job C-JeS and JYJ, i’m so proud of you!
Guys, please, vote for JYJ: http://entame.k-plaza.com/2014/01/vote-5.html
Guys hurry adn vote! JYJ is first, but the percentage with the second place is the same.
whooaaaaa….deabak…..
congratulations……^^
If C-jes had produced more “I” albums, the numbers would have been better, however it was great as we can see。 So proud of Jaejoong and Junsu, let’s see how a up coming JYJ album could bring。
Wow JJ and Junsu is daebak!! JJ is practically Cjes gold mine last year.
It’s practically Kim Jaejoong putting Cjes on the map 😉 343,014 albums!
that’s lovely guys
Exo is dominating everywhere, followed by all other SM idols, no wonder JYJ still can’t be seen on broadcasts,
I think even without SM requesting the PDs, nobody wants to displease that company!
JYJ must just keep on making music to keep their existing fans (and win some), fans will start leaving or migrate to other idols fandom if there’s nothing to spazz on or nothing new to listen to.
But JYJ still can do better even without any promotion in tv. They work very hard for their future and they not simply give up when nobody want to help them to promote. Honestly, they and their fan are the real winner.
my daughter is craze at EXO but i don’t like their songs only Miracles in December (perhaps b’co’z of my age, lol!)
but you are right in saying, JYJ should keep making music or else.. . as Junsu have said in one of his interviews (in my own words now), songs these days don’t have legend in itself, they fade and forgotten easily unlike songs of the past decades. this is not surprising considering we live in fast-paced life. that’s why I so happy when Jae sang I Have Nothing, it relates my old memories to his present existence in me, making the song and Jae timeless from now onwards. 😀
@kris
my reply above hihihi!!! 😀 😀 😀
indeed ! Promoting in TV and music shows/concert year end shows is VERY important to keep fans and gain new ones . this is why JYJ are being blocked by different people …yeah they can slip in some acting projects and some interviews here and there( which is what everyone can do anyway) but believe me it’s not going to be enough after their enlistment ….most people will only care about artist they” see ” more .
if exposure wasn’t needed you wouldn’t see SM and other companies putting their idols everywhere and using every opportunity for that even if it’s displeases some people ….people can hate exo all they want , they’re still on top now and with less time than everyone else…actually very few people can get any real fan base without big exposure to the public.
Dammit …we don’t need JYJ to be everywhere like SM’s people , just let them appear in TV shows when they want too and music shows when they’re promoting a new album and that’s not going to be much really… you can have all the other crap all to yourself SM .
Hi, Just an FYI but JYJ also sold a few more copies of their album In Heaven from last year which is where the extra sales come from. Its actually:
JYJ:
In Heaven: 5,155
Kim Jaejoong:
I: 148,074
WWW: 132,940
Y: 62,000
Xia Junsu:
Incredible: 90,787
Thats how I got my total
Thank you so much ^^
I’m hoping that” www” will sell more that ” I” by the end of 2014 , because it’s a great album ..even better than I .
looking at my comment … JJ album names ….(๑•́ ₃ •̀๑)
Oh my Cjes got 4th place with just two artist that’s awesome. The power of JYJ
Solo artist at that~!
my sentiment exactly. Cjes got no 4 just from JYJ, only 2 solo, Jae n Junsu and from less than 4 album. Seeing the other in the list, its indeed Awesome!! if JYJ can promote freely, their ranking could be higher, since they could get new fans not only from music shows n variety shows but also from dramas (which has been proven of so many new fans came from Jae’s n Chun’s drama) since it would be easier for new fans that knew them from their drama to also know that they are also singers. Not to forget Junsu’s could freely promote his musical works, album n ost songs in music shows too..
I’m not that much found of CJes ( for many reasons) but if they focus more on their music department ( next to they acting ) they may actually replace some of the big 5 companies …I mean they only have JYJ and look how far up the list they are ?
if they can break the blocking on JYJ and they’re set to go .
I know right! SM is on the top with over 2M but they released 10++ albums (between a huge # of individuals, don’t know the exact number and don’t really care to do research) while C-jes released 3.5 between 2 artists. I don’t know how many groups/artists released an album in SM but I’m sure that their piece of the profits for each member are crumbs compared to the piece of cake that two individuals in C-jes get.
Cjes definitely counts on our JYJ boys If it weren’t for them, Cjes won’t be where they are right now, amongst top companies. COngratulation you two.
Jaejoong, Junsu, C-JeS – incredible success with zero television or radio promotions. I seriously think it qualifies as a miracle. Very big congratulations.
And this doesn’t even take into consideration their acting and musical results.
Wow, even without proper promotion on TV broadcast, JJ reached number 4!! No wonder he’s considered a legendary singer/songwriter (in my opinion). I feel things will get better as the years go by, just look at their success without SM Entertainment!
Wow this is awesome news!!!!!!!! Congrats Junsu, JJ and CJES this is amazing success!!!!! I agree they ranked this high without the top notch promotions that other artist get to do!!!!!!!!!!!!
in heaven of jyj only 5000 ??!!! O.o
That’s only for 2013 sales, In Heaven was released Sept. 2011, the album sold 165,000 copies within 3 days of being released and reached 220,000 copies sales in October 2011 according to Gaon Chart . (from JYJ wiki)
kim jaejoong daebak!!
