Sea fog, fighting!
the others all look like scruffy old guys and yuchuns face is so smooth and pinchable! he just looks like a younger not so haggard sailor~you know, gorgeous like he is 🙂
Um, one of the scruffy old guys is Kim Yoon Seok, one of the most respected big screen and theater leading actor in Korea. His last film, The Thieves, is not only critically acclaimed and land him Grand Prize/Daesang at Korean Korean Culture and Entertainment Award, it also became the second best-selling Korean film of all time.
It’s a great honor for any actor to be able to act in the same movie with him. I’m so proud of Yoochun. To be cast along side Yoon Seok in his first big screen debut is no joke.

Omg! Yuchun actually looks much cleaner and younger than I was expecting. Gorgeous indeed. Sea fog fighting!
This is the right place for someone as talented as Chun. A real, high quality big screen film. He’s too good to be just a Kpop drama actor. I don’t mind too see him crumpled or untidy if that is what the script demands. Unlike soap opera, a serious movie will display real life instead of polished reality where everybody look like they just get out of a beauty salon all the time, wearing perfect make up and hair even when they are sleeping lol.
As Jaejoong said, YC is a genius which I think not only musically but also on his career path. He’s very calculative and optimize his potentials in a given time and opportunity. His being a music artist is always there, nobody can take it away from him (even if blacklisted), but golden opportunity which harness his acting ability doesn’t come everyday, being a lead actor in a quality movie like Sea Fog is really a huge break for him.
Yeah… I think Yoochun is a bit ‘crazy’. Not so many kpop idol wants to take a serious film like the fog as his acting debut. This film can explore other his acting talents we’ve never seen. I hope he can be like his senior actor Kim Yoon Seok
YC is an interesting case, instead taking light rom com movie as his big screen debut, he took super heavy thriller Sea Fog. That’s why he’s different and caught eyes of many directors. I bet he received many movie scripts from long time ago, but he just doesn’t feel it. I still remember last year in Beijing media day he said that he doesn’t want to rush to take movie project. He wait until he received script n role that he wants.
I actually think most idols would kill for a chance like this but would the movie people even want any of them in their projects ?
yoochun getting this role means he’s not looked at as an actor like the other idols are .

If I recall, Dongshik was a role that many young actors wanted, which includes a member of a popular group (I’m guessing a certain person)……. and also a Hallyu star in his 30’s.
I am glad Director Sim like Yuchun and gave him the role.

i’m not into k-pop eversince, i’m fond of dramas and k-movies, it is huge relief for me that Chunnie is marking his name in this field. want to believe even from 10 years now (as i have been watching since decade ago) i have him to look forward from one project after another because he is a fine actor. 🙂 i refrain reading spoiler/synopsis/even role relationship from Sea Fog and Three Days because i want to watch with empty mind. will also not follow the weekly airing of Three Days for i prefer marathon watching (have done that during RTP and IMY and such habit curled up my spontaneity).
