Episode 3 and 4 of SBS TV Wed-Thu drama ‘Three Days’ will be condensed into a movie, with a duration of 125 minutes without advertisements, for its second broadcast this Sunday.
The production team revealed today that the condensed version of episode 3 and 4 will air on March 16th, and viewers will be able to see the story even clearer in 1 swoop, while also enjoying a better experience as the footage will also undergo new editing and music accompaniment.
The team also admitted that the creation of the condensed version would require additional manpower and resources. But it still went ahead with it, as it wants viewers who weren’t able to catch the first broadcast, to be able to watch the second broadcast with movie-like quality. It will also offer viewers who had already watched it, a fresh new viewing experience. SBS TV has also taken into consideration the characteristics of its viewers, and has thus made the decision to broadcast the entire condensed version without any advertisements in between.
Episodes 1 and 2 were condensed into a 120 minute movie, and was able to achieve a television rating of 5% when it was shown last Sunday.
Meanwhile, ‘Three Days’ climbed to the top of the ratings chart against competing dramas in the same timeslot for the first time, with 12.7% for episode 4 on March 13th.
