Actress Baek Jin Hee and rookie Naya have confirmed their roles in MBC’s upcoming drama, “Triangle.”

Baek Jin Hee will be playing Oh Jung Hee, the love interest of two brothers: Jang Dong Chul played by JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong and Jang Dong Joon played by Z:EA’s Im Siwan. Oh Jung Hee is described as a girl with a bright outlook despite her difficult circumstances. She works as a casino dealer to support her family which consists of a miner father and four younger siblings.

Rookie actress Naya will be playing the role of Lee Soo Jung, the youngest daughter of a casino chaebol group called C-World. Lee Soo Jung is a childhood friend of Im Siwan’s character, Dong Woo, whom she has liked all her life. Unfortunately, Dong Woo has never shown any interest in her, hurting her pride and causing her to be obsessive in her love for Dong Woo. This puts her in a complicated relationship with Baek Jin Hee, Kim Jaejoong, and Im Siwan.

JYJ, C-JeS artists donate notebooks to Leyte, Batangas children

The Dream Note project of JYJ and C-JeS artists for Leyte and Batangas schoolchildren schoolchildren (C-JeS Entertainment)
Korean boy band JYJ and other artists under C-JeS Entertainment have partnered with humanitarian organization World Vision to extend a helping hand to less affluent students of Leyte and Batangas in the Philippines.

They did so by distributing about 20,000 autographed notebooks, which were received wholeheartedly by schoolchildren from the region.

Each notebook contains inspiring handwritten messages, including, “You can and you will,” “Think happy, be happy,” “Believe in yourself” and “Things will get better.”

Apart from JYJ members Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu, other artists who took part in the drive were Song Ji-hyo, Choi Minsik, Seol Gyeong-gu, Lee Jung-jae, Park Sung-woong, Gummy, Kang Hye-jung and Park Yu-wan.

[OTHER NEWS] 140403 Son Hyun Joo set for a ‘heavier’ role in ‘Three Days’

President Lee Dong Hwi (Son Hyun Joo) has been trying his best to keep a low profile in SBS TV Wed-Thu drama ‘Three Days’ all this while, but with the situation taking an abrupt turn, he will soon be taking on a more hands-on role in order to solve the Yangjinri incident.

Since the drama began its broadcast, the story has been revolving around Han Tae Kyung (JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun) as he seeks to ensure the safety of the president, while also trying to absolve his father of any wrongdoing at the same time. But Han Tae Kyung was unable to eventually evade Kim Do Jin’s sinister plot, and gets restrained. Lee Dong Hwi thus has to step forward from the backseat, and it also means that the drama will be starting a brand new chapter from here on.

The production company revealed, “We have received constant feedback from viewers that Son Hyun Joo had been used only sparingly thus far and was seemingly a supporting character. But the president is someone whom you can trust on, and dotes on his subordinates. To bring out this character trait, we had no choice but to restrict the number of scenes involving the president. But a whole new battle is about to be unleashed, and president Lee Dong Whi will soon make his move. Everyone will soon be able to witness Son Hyun Joo’s thrilling acting capability.”

Meanwhile, a ‘double spy’ is set to be unleashed in episode 10 after receiving a secret mission from president Lee Dong Hwi. The production company also revealed that the upcoming episodes will contain many unpredictable twists and turns, and episode 10 will be a watershed point.

Episode 10 of ‘Three Days’ will be shown tonight (April 3rd) from 10PM (KST).
