Actress Baek Jin Hee and rookie Naya have confirmed their roles in MBC’s upcoming drama, “Triangle.”
Baek Jin Hee will be playing Oh Jung Hee, the love interest of two brothers: Jang Dong Chul played by JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong and Jang Dong Joon played by Z:EA’s Im Siwan. Oh Jung Hee is described as a girl with a bright outlook despite her difficult circumstances. She works as a casino dealer to support her family which consists of a miner father and four younger siblings.
Rookie actress Naya will be playing the role of Lee Soo Jung, the youngest daughter of a casino chaebol group called C-World. Lee Soo Jung is a childhood friend of Im Siwan’s character, Dong Woo, whom she has liked all her life. Unfortunately, Dong Woo has never shown any interest in her, hurting her pride and causing her to be obsessive in her love for Dong Woo. This puts her in a complicated relationship with Baek Jin Hee, Kim Jaejoong, and Im Siwan.
“Triangle” is about three brothers who were separated 20 years ago. The drama follows the story of how the brothers are brought back together after not knowing about each other’s existence. It stars Lee Bum Soo, Kim Jaejoong, and Im Siwan as the three brothers. Oh Yeon Soo, Baek Jin Hee, and Naya play their female love interests, respectively. “Triangle” will be written by Choi Wan Kyu, who as also worked on “All In” and “Swallow the Sun.” The drama will be directed by Yoo Chul Yong PD. It will air this May after “Empress Ki” comes to an end.
