He said that he gained new friends through ‘Triangle’. And among them, Im Siwan and Baek Jinhee have become his ‘precious persons’.

“Im Siwan is kind of shy of strangers but as we worked in this drama, he has opened a lot. Because his house is near mine, sometimes he would call and say ‘Hyung, let’s have a drink’. He’s like my real brother.”

They had a lot of scenes together in the drama, so their chemistry was very important. It seems that being close in real life helped a lot.

“Of course! We worked very well together. Im Siwan is the type who only satisfies he fully knows the script inside out and I’m the type who thinks the sense of immediacy is important. So we were on the same wavelength. I knew how to react to what he prepared.”

His affection for Baek Jinhee is also exceptional. Since the drama focused on brotherhood, it’s a little sad that there weren’t many melo scenes. But in the reality, he said he had his own way to make they look like real lovers.

“We decided to call each other ‘darling’. Not only when we were rehearsing or in our time off, we also called each other ‘darling’ when we exchanged SMS. When real lovers act as couple, their sincerity can be shown. We wanted to at least call each other by another term (not by name) to create the melo atmosphere. But while we were like that, she had dating rumor with another man. Aigoo~! Afraid that Jinhee might feel depressed, I teased her more often to cheer her up.”
