“Because I don’t work alone, I have the JYJ members.. So I can’t make a decision as I like. The exact periods will be decided after talking with the company. I have no fear against the life in the military service but.. I have it a little [fear] against the periods of blank. I’d like not to be hasty and greedy when I come back after finishing it. I think.. although I would not be a lead role, I’ll be thankful to appear, if I can meet, in a nice drama or film. I could feel free and easy since I thought like that. I won’t quit this after working for only several years so I think it would be better chance to start slowly with keeping my composure after my comeback.”
__Only you didn’t make solo album in JYJ. Now you seem to prefer to act than to sing.
“Actually, Yes.. I also wanted to make my solo album. And people around me and my company also recommended to make it so I prepared it last year but I thought.. ‘If I make it like this, it would be the same with others’. So I quitted it. I can make the album as JYJ so I almost gave up to make it [my solo album]. Honestly, I wanted to act more. Since I did ‘Rooftop Prince(2012)’, I wanna know more about acting. Nowadays, it’s so fun to watch the various acting expressions of other actors when I enjoy watching a drama or movie… Sometimes I copied their acting and thought.. how I can make the character if I act it.. Acting is so fun.”

he has always been a lead actor , there’s no need for him to change that when he’s discharged from service …others have gone back to what they were doing as soon as they came back .
but I guess it’s a humble way of thinking .

But we will be missing you and your work so much and wish to see you in a new drama or movie or a new album right after you comeback.
now that you stated you preference clear, Just Us album is definitely your gift to members (fans). given your personality and way of thought, it’s not surprising you want to act more. surely you have a bright future with that choice. i just hope you will not loose the other passion (singing) to the point of being not confident alone and not enthusiastic without JaeSu beside you on stage singing. i wish too that you will not loose the cool side, though you prefer to stay less the glamour, maintain the graces of ageing (physically & substance) 🙂

How come yoochun needs to serve the army? Wasn’t he exempted due to asthma?

are you serious ? …if he gets exempted from service because of his asthma condition the hate he will get in korea will know no end especially since they know he smokes … they don’t even care if he really can’t .

Junsu ; Level 2
Jae : Level 3
Yuchun : Level 4 bcos of his asthma.
Info on military service based on what I’ve read. I don’t know if there are changes now.
Level 1 to 3 soldiers will have to serve active duty.
As for Yuchun and those at level 4 : They will undergo a 4 week training before being assigned to a govt agency as a Public Service Personnel for 2 yrs. Work a 9? to 5 job. They get to go home everyday. Yuchun cant get involve in any entertainment activities.
I don’t know whether JaeChunSu’s medical/fitness reports have changed since then.

Spot on! I like the group album but I still want a Micky solo album, it’s totally two different things altogether, why are you lumping ’em up and say like as if they are one item? They are not! :'(((
we chun lovers think alike! chun, we need one of each of you AND the JYJ cd! music you can take anywhere and listen a hundred times a day if you want to have a one on one with someone you love! i know you love acting but a drama, wonderful as it is, is not near as easy to rewatch as a cd is to listen to! i promise to still watch all your future acting roles and i know i will wear out my JYJ JUst Us cd but please let us hear only your voice for 40 minutes too? please?i will wear it out just like i have js and jj’s solo cds. in fact, i will buy several cd’s to collect, give away and listen to.chun, can you hear us? we are calling you!
