hi @ilangilang
just want to inform that trough a press conference at 27th August 2014, it was confirmed by IAGOC2014 that JYJ will sing “Only One” during the torch parade inside the stadium on the opening ceremony on September 19th, 2014, and sing one more song afterwards.
Let’s wait and see if the cameraman of IAGOC2014 would only focus on the torch parade inside the stadium when JYJ is singing “Only One” (their live performance become background music), and after the torch parade and “Only One”, time for commercial break. Therefore, JYJ would not be shown on TV anyway.
no problem. ^^ twitter is a really helpful platform in gathering news about JYJ from fellow fans. might be jyj3.net has a strong reason as to why the blog hasn’t shared this news yet.
but @Leung has a point. a very practicable point, as in like a-really- innocent-but-possible fraud scenario to tackle JYJ from being broadcasted during performance. i feel like crying just imagining it. T___T
ilangilang
Pls don’t. You’ll make me cry too. I have a Twitter account but didn’t see this. So, thanks again.
@lovesongeighty6 feel free to check the ‘Categories’ >> ‘News’ or our ‘Tags’ >> ‘JYJ’ >> ‘2014 Incheon Asian Games’ before saying that we didn’t share something.

I will only forgive them if JYJ appears in the broadcast of the Opening ceremony, both when they sing the Only One song and when they sing a song of their own, and without snarky comments by stupid announcers.
Yeah I remember all the nasty comments and foolishness that went on during the president’s inauguration. The had people walking on stage and the commentators were damn rude, they better not try it or I hope the JYJ fans there show out big time!
well, what have we here? blashemy? blatent using of a good name? tarnishing their own reputation all in the name of fear? (of a certain shameless company)
I almost missed them. They showed them for a split second only and I didn’t see their names in the credits. Are they there? I became interested in Korea and learning about Korea’s history and culture because of JYJ. However, it is one thing to ignore their most talented young men but to use them shamelessly like this, makes me really disappointed in Korea as a country. Sorry to those Korean fans who love JYJ just as much as we do.
I totally agree with you! The clip of JYJ was so fast and gone in a blink of eyes. I am very pissed off by the Korea entertainment industy or organisation body for their mistreatment of JYJ for the last 5 years. It’s a shame of the country to the eyes of foreigners. JYJ are korean and yet they can’t perform in their country tv shows and music awards ceremony. To me, it is Ridiculous!!
In this video they have been portrayed as merely being part of the audience~! BUT they are still being used! It’s beyond shocking and insulting to JYJ and their fans.
oh my heart literally skips a beat seeing their bright laughter there in the video. i wonder what’s so funny that makes them laughing like that :’)
btw, i wonder why JYJ3.net haven’t shared the news, but trough a press conference at 27th August 2014, it was confirmed by IAGOC2014 that JYJ will sing “Only One” during the torch parade inside the stadium on the opening ceremony, and sing one more song afterwards. Let’s cheer for them, and hoping there will be no any act of disrespect to them!
It is not confirmed yet whether JYJ will be invited to perform on the closing ceremony, well, i guess it will likely be a no.
Once, a long time ago, JJ said “I’ll never show you when I am hurt”. and so, the three of them laugh when they fall and they laugh when they stand and just being together, the three of them, sharing their own private jokes is enough to bring them into good cheer.
admin @rilanna
what i meant by news that haven’t been shared is the confirmation news from the other side which is IAGOC2014 latest press conference, since it was held on Aug 27, 2014.
by all means i apologize if i sound rude, or if i failed to find out the proper way to express myself. but believe me i have no intentions whatsoever to weight all your effort down. i cherish this blog a whole lot. again, i’m sorry, and thank you.
From this news dated Aug 28, 2014 : http://m.korea.net/english/NewsFocus/Sports/view?articleId=121448
IAG is now clearly stating ” JYJ, the official ambassadors for the Incheon Asian Games 2014…” so I expect they won’t embarrass themselves,
the whole world will be watching the whole ceremony, the official ambassadors have to be treated as such. And according to other news JYJ is to perform another song as musicians besides Only One. I think the program officials are warned to be very careful not to mess around again, considering that JYJ is on an Asian Tours, they’re like slapping their own faces.
Thanks for this link.
1) It actually says “the official ambassadors JYJ will perform a concert and sing…Only One” (during the torch procession) but what does this mean “will perform a concert”? is it again a translation problem? because perform a concert means something more substantial than just a couple of songs.
2) Among the posters of various celebrity faces (which I do not care to know) I do not see any of the ambassadors.
3) I believe one reason for changing their mind was the petition we signed. I had said that using JYJ as advertisement on their tickets is a fraud anid if the organizing committe is such a fraudster how can we know that the Games will be fair and not cooked. This comment had received over 60 likes when I last checked it about a month ago.
Since it’s from http://m.korea.net/english/NewsFocus/Sports, not from any Kpop site, I’m placing my high hope at that phrase. I’m always a believer of redemption time, I’ll wait and see, praying for a glorious event for JYJ.
@anna-liza p.m JYJ was there on the huge background poster/banner, you just need to spend more time to observe since their pic is placed so low on the leftside (from viewer’s pov) under other nugu (to me) people. yeah, i know so sneaky of them organizer
i don’t know exactly but i think it was combination of cjes’ formal complaint letter and also from united efforts of fans’ complaint in social media pretty much made the organizer think twice. unfortunately, still not enough to deal a slot in closing ceremony.
this is not related to JYJ, but God, i dislike those hanbok, i’m sorry, but it looks way cheaper from the supposed to be graceful original korean hanbok.
@ai uta Oh, yeah! Now that you have guided my eyes, I could see Jaejoong peeking between the skirts of two hanboks. Anyway, considering that I didn’t expect to see ambassadors at skirt level, I won’t be in a hurry to see an optician. Thanks for the guidance.
Re your other points, I agree, it was a combined effort + the fact they are touring Asia and this reminds people of their place as ambassador and if they have their concert on 20Sept everybody will ask why are they not at Incheon.
Sorry Korean fans. I really hope JYJ won’t perform at that game. I prefer them not performing than someone sabotaging during their performance ( like our sweet Junsu – i cried like hell) Anyway JYJ are busy preparing for their concerts.
C-JES isn’t saying anything? I’m calling BS on this whole thing, IAG just want JYJ fans to stop bringing attention to the IAG’s wrong doing and just shut up so I think they put this BOGUS “theme and other song” notice out as an red herring!
Watch JYJ will be cut out the broadcast or have time run out or tech audio/camera problems or over talking commentators or schedule issues or some other BULL!
I WON’T GET MY HOPES UP FOR FAIR AND RIGHT ACTIONS FROM AIG, SME OR KOREAN TV UNTIL I SEE IT! JYJ FIGHTING!
Having JYJ perform during the torch parade will be IAG’s excuse not to focus on JYJ for television. I’m sure this was planned when they caved in to pressure to have them appear. IAG, are still SM puppets.
I cannot enjoy anything from IAG anymore 😒
gonna download JYJ’s performance ( if they actually show it ) and everyone else can f**k off ( we see too much of you everywhere anyway ) .
This news just makes me angry all over again and nervous for JYJ. Honestly, I don’t know why they subject themselves to this treatment.
And as far as SM Entertainment is concerned, if they EVER want to resurrect their reputation out of the toilet where it currently dwells, they will stop this blatant strong-arming and hi-jacking JYJ’s events like this.
It makes us HATE you, SM. It does nothing you want it to do and plenty you should NOT want. STOP breaking the law and leave JYJ alone!
I’ll wait to see JYJ actually performing & not getting crappy coverage before I rejoice… ever since this whole fiasco started I haven’t been able to listen to Only One, & it’s always been one of my favorite songs 😦
@Lilibaiyu
Hi Lils 🙂 I doubt if JYJ will ever accept this kind of ambassadorial gig again because CJes made it very clear to the IAGOC what bs they’ve been dealt in the past by organisations they’ve sponsored or been ambassadors for who have used JYJ to promote themselves only to cave under sm pressure (or bribes) at the last minute, & the IAGOC assured them repeatedly that they wouldn’t behave the same way… only to do the exact same thing. I think now JYJ have been burnt too many times.
Hi Sapphie – I really hope you’re right (as you so often are) and this is the end of the one-sided “offers” these shameless organizations present to JYJ, all rosy in the beginning and after the work has been done, a big slap in the face instead of fullfilling their end of the bargain. It’s terrible for the guys AND terrible for their fans to have to experience/witness this shocking level of corruption in SK business dealings owing to SM Entertainment’s illegal and ongoing vendetta..
Disappointing in IAGOC, using JYJ like this, to suit their own means, it so obvious someone else is pushing their button, where is the sportsmanship in this when global organisation, cannot organise themselves and be trustworthy in doing a quality job, the coming together, NO, the selective coming together.
JYJ have untold integrity and self worth, than you will have in your little fingertip.
WELL I’ve been posting my concerns about this whole mess along with a lot people on the IAG FB since they first tried the cut JYJ out. As far as I know they have never responded to ANY of the fans comments. Low and Behold I got one today!
Shari Taylor: IAG if you have any integrity at all you won’t pull any dirty tricks or “accidents” during the opening ceremony like not broadcast JYJ or cut them out or have rude comments or DO ANYTHING but treat them with the respect they deserve after spending over a year promoting your games ! THE WORLD WILL BE WATCHING YOU!!

THEY REPLY:
2014 Incheon Asian Games: Thanks for your opinion. We do respect our goodwill ambassador JYJ and we are fully aware of their effort to promote the Games since last year. Don’t worry!
SO WHAT DO YOU ALL MAKE OF THIS? An honest reply or just trying to shut me up right before the games?
guess i don’t believe in them cause i think they are just trying to shut you up. it is vague and not really committing to ANYTHING. we all know how hard they promoted the games for a year, that is old news. did they commit to anything? not at all. give us more~ trust must be earned again and the effort much more convincing to me.
@ koreamom – LOL Yeah I think I see a SHUT UP in there too but they don’t know I got no shame where injustice (and 3 certain hot guys) are concerned LOL!
@lilibaiyu – Thanks but I just one voice in the crowd! I feel so proud of how the fans rallied around the guys. I truly hope all goes well JYJ deserves it!
i am proud of your efforts and that you actually got a response. i am proud of all the fans standing up for JYJ and saying the facts. i really think they know that if something goes wrong again, it won’t be so easy to keep those hornets quiet this time around. they might get stung if they weasel out of it. i just hope for once, we can count on fair treatment and sending sme a message however subtle. 🙂
First of all, BRAVO and Well Done, Slynne for your continued efforts to make our voices heard and our presence felt with the IAG. It’s fans like you who are the most precious to JYJ. We who work tirelessly to get the word out are the ones who will eventually be responsible for caving in the walls that currently surround JYJ, keeping them from full access to media exposure. We’ve all tried our best to get media attention to the situation and the most important thing here is that we must NEVER GIVE UP. It’s hard and discouraging and seemingly hopeless at times but we must never stop telling truth anywhere and everywhere we can find an outlet – we must never let the conversation about this die down.
I don’t know what to make of the response either, quite frankly, because the IAG has demonstrated clearly that by dishonoring their contract with JYJ to appear as headliners in the opening and closing night concerts, they can not possibly be said to “respect” them, simple as that. Still, the response is what it is – words that would seem to suggest good intentions, so we’ll just have to see what happens and hold them accountable if things go awry in reality. I think it’s safe to say at this point that the IAG has batted down an angry hornets nest when they messed with JYJ and that’s something to be proud of as the fans standing behind them.
🙂
Fuck this. And they don’t let the ambassadors perform.

Exactly. I do think you predict it right. IAGOS2014 must have “worked things out” with you-know-who.
Omg, this is really good news. Sorry I didn’t know this so I just keep the grudge. Thank you so much for telling me this. Now I can rest in peace.
