Triangle’s Kim Jaejoong is nominated for Male Excellence Award in Korea Drama Awards 2014 ^__^

Since nominees are chosen from Korean dramas that aired on the three major broadcasting networks (KBS, MBC and SBS) and cable channels, the competition is strong, and we are happy to know Jaejoong is receiving favorable reviews for his acting in “Triangle”, the proof is that the nominees it’s decided solely by experts judges/critics in the acting field.
This ceremony will be held on October 1st, 2014.

To be chosen as one of the 5 top excellent actors by experts/judges/critics is a great honor. From among the 5 nominees, he’s only the singer as the main profession and the most junior in terms of filmography and all those four are award winning actors with their past works.
CONGRATULATIONS Kim Jaejoong. I’m really proud he gets nominated on this award giving body which has no fans’ participation, Most drama viewers and people from acting industry will usually roll their eyes if an idol_turned_actors win an acting award, dismissing that it’s all just because of their crazy obsessed fandom, lol . Well, of course if there’s a poll to help him win, I’ll vote like crazy for sure 🙂
If there’s no JJ in there, I hope Ji Chang Wook will win, he was really great in Empress Ki . How I wish to see KJJ and JCW in one drama, wow, that must be a breathtaking showdown! ❤
Agree… it is already a great honor and win for our Jaejoong. I’m speechless and breathless at the same time just thinking about him as Heo YeongDal in Triangle I hope the judges will feel the same way. If Jaejoong wins, it will set a totally new turf for idol-turned-actor in the drama industry and all eyes will raise in awe and respect. Pray hard for Jaejoong ❤
I am so proud of Jaejoong. Being nominated for both dramas he did tell us how good his acting is/ being recognized by industry experts. I really enjoy his natural acting and how he can make us ‘feel’ with his character . I’m glad that the judges appreciate that since I find actors in Korean dramas have a tendency to over ‘act’, especially those with villain roles. This will be a very tough competition for him and I consider it a win for him already since Triangle is not the most popular drama among all the other candidates and he still managed to catch the attention of industry experts.

I agree with previous posts, Jaejoong is already a winner selected by critics for his acting ability and not by fans for popularity, which usually goes to the actors that have more lead role made to love the role type which leads you to fall for the actor.
Ji Chang Wook is an awesome actor and his drama had good ratings, Triangle had fair ratings but Jaejoong’s acting was outstanding, his eyes (reminds me of Roy Chiu … m e l t ) captures your heart, really mesmerizing, he made the drama, the drama didn’t make him and if it were not for his A+++ acting it would have been a flop, so that difference should count, I hope. Chosen as one of the top five for the award, Jaejoong must be very happy!
my goodness, all dramas where lead actors are selected are my own choices!! JCW comes from fave EK, not only the story but his acting is so effective, i came to like him in this drama. i find LSG charismatic when he acts and when he sings, simple yet well-rounded, he can do any roles. LJS is a natural though overboard sometime but he has convincing pull in the end, sadly Doctor Stranger did not match his goodness. i like YAI since SKKS but SLA gave him the crucial break, it’s one mature story that gave him depth as an actor. and KimJaejoong is not surprising yet phenomenal in Triangle, but don’t let the story pull the objective interest of critics naming the winner because he did an amazing characterization as Youngdal/DongCheol. all reviews of his acting were favorable the only thing left in this nomination is affirmation, if he wins, lips and heads are nodding, meaning a deserve WIN! 😀 😀 😀

The thing about Jaejoong is, he always got the bad dramas, which turn many people off from watching,
but for those who stay, they will realize soon enough that Jaejoong always got the most complex characters in dramas he starred in,
and he nailed em with his acting.
And in this drama particularly, I saw many kdrama fans, of whom are not JYJ fan, thought that his acting is superb, and they really dont have problem with his acting. We should be proud of Jaejoong.
So happy that Jaejoong is nominated here by the pros, He was excellent in Triangle with touching eye expressions which melted many viewers like me.
Ji chang wook is more deserving to win. And empress ki is the best drama and ost.
