I beg you please can we petition for JYJ to have their own comedy or talk show on YouTube, preferably TV or something, they are too damned funny. Love them.
more than that, we should do petition for JYJ to appear on variety or music shows or anything so that they can be broadcasted fairly like other celebrities. I mean seriously it’s been 5 years already. Their best part of life (means their peak of age) has been wasted (not appear on national TV) for 5 years. Dont’ you find it’s very CRUEL enough for a celebrity? now they are in their late 20’s (almost 30’s) and for how long you think the popularity will last? I know their popularity is not a joke but with this kind of situation (being blocked by external pressure, with thousands of new idol debuting every year) it’s kind of difficult to maintain the spot.
I mean if we don’t do something now, there will be never a chance for them to be broadcasted fairly. It’ either NOW or NEVER.
@cake
I share your frustration and have and will always do everything I can to actively protest this unfair ban and move hearts and minds for change. Have you checked out the JYJIFC? (JYJIFC.com) It’s a coalition of international fans who feel as we do. Also, here is a Facebook page dedicated to activism on behalf of JYJ: https://www.facebook.com/StandUp4Jyj
SM is counting on the fact that fans are lazy, easily discouraged and then easily distracted by the newest young face. Thank you for not simply handing yourself over to that way of thinking.
@cake I wish there was a click of the fingers and JYJ is not banned, but don’t you think instead if relying on TVS appearance, should we not find others way of avenue for the time being, until then. JYJ has find ways to slid through the cracks by promoting themselves especially when they did the 10 or 12 second advertisement of themselves, these guys have great intelligent of finding this loophole. We should never give up and continue fighting, we need to find a new ways, like the IAG petition, it was sent, seen and act on, it helped, so proud I sign it. I know there is a lot of petitions and individuals who is still bombarding the broadcasters and other areas, kudos to them but there still no joy, I am not saying let’s give up, has JYJ said ‘their concert was not made for TV’ they find a way to ensure they are seen by YouTube, concert, or videos, etc., to me it was very heartfelt that they did not realise while they were performing at the IAG that their performance was shown longer than usual, which still was not enough but they were so elated and ecstatic, just teared up.
I think it’s time for them to look into do something different has JYJ like an entertainment show, even if it’s on YouTube or video and hopefully result in a lot of views, there is nothin wrong with that, when the time come for these people to see sense, SM, and the banned is lifted or JYJ has enough to have their own broadcast station, which I have no doubt they will, the are certainly men to be reckon with, watch out SM, KBS, etc The achievement of them singularly and together is on par on any celebrity out there, and they did this on their own, using their own without promotion, maybe more and while others are having the easy promoting life. Has long has JYJ has fans like us helping them and ensuring the name JYJ is heard, they will succeed. 😉
If I’ve learned anything today from reading the articles on JYJ3 it is that the members of JYJ desperately care about their continued ban on broadcast TV, they have despaired of it and they WANT to be back on TV where they belong. Yes, a multitude of international fans using JYJ3 as a spring board have rattled every cage we could find, we have written a storm of emails, we have created and sent petitions and we will not stop – it’s too important. Now that the guys are openly speaking out about this injustice we feel doubly committed to helping end the boycott – committed to doing everything we can think of to help because it means SO MUCH to the members. The thing is – We CAN”T STOP until they are restored. SM is absolutely banking on the fact that we’ll get tired and burned out and give up.
JYJ has shown themselves to be massively resourceful in finding new avenues out into the broader world to be seen in front of their fans. They have shown dare I say it GENIUS in this respect and they should get a lot of credit for their creative thinking-outside-the-box in order to stay visible in the face of the giant clamp SM put on all their activities in the beginning. I believe that now that JYJ are willing to go on record about what’s been going on, the pressure will build again to shame SM into letting loose the vise-like grip they have on the program directors. ALL fans of JYJ need to keep up the pressure though. We need to continue to let our voices be heard. JYJ needs us and they appreciate our efforts.
” I know their popularity is not a joke but with this kind of situation (being blocked by external pressure, with thousands of new idol debuting every year) it’s kind of difficult to maintain the spot. ”
It’s really upsetting that they are blocked by external pressure but I think JYJ have dealt with it the best way they can without bending their knees. They keep their pride and dignity amidst the blocking.
I’m not in any way insecure about their popularity. Let’s take for example Yoochun, he’s not active as a singer for the past 4 years, but look at those blue support he has in JYJ concerts. It shows that when they gain fans through their individual activities, those fans (most if not all) will follow them in every projects they’re in, whether solo or group. He can fill a stadium on his own (through his fanmeetings). Music and variety shows shunned them, yes, they want to appear on those shows but they don’t beg but instead they stand tall, heads up and show to the bullies that they can soar high without those shows. Just how many petitions have we made for the last five years, I have even dozens of email address just to boast up the number of signatures, lol. I think most fans now are focused on support, making their every project a huge success. Individually, they are more popular than those idols seen regularly on music/variety shows (Jaejoong and Junsu can beat them in album sales and concert attendance),
what if you combined them to JYJ, it’s raised to the power of three, isn’t it ?
This is just my opinion, but let’s believe in JYJ’s power, let’s not feel insecure, let’s give their every project a phenomenal success and it will have a domino effect.
junsu looks so cute … two hyungs still trolling baby su. they all look so loved up together 🙂
