An event to celebrate the opening of online integration platform of ‘Visit Medical Korea’ was held at Korea Tourism Organization TIC on October 1.
Byun Choo-suk, the president of Korea Tourism Organization, said, “I firmly believe medical tour in Korea will grow fast. Online integration platform ‘Visit Medical Korea’ (www.visitmedicalkorea.com) was created to give practical help and advices to tourists who visit Korea for medical services.”
He also said, “We will also provide one on one consultation to tourists all over the world. This site is also available in English, Chinese and Japanese. We will additionally provide Arabic, Russian and Vietnamese services soon.”

Kim Jae-joong also said, “I am so honored to be named as honorary ambassador for Korea medical tourism, too. I will try hard to let many people around the world know about beauty of Korea.”
Kim Jun-su stated, “I am really glad to be appointed as honorary ambassador for Korea medical tourism. I hope many people all over the world to know more about Korean culture and also JYJ’s music. I also hope that many people visit Korea.”
Meanwhile, JYJ, as honorary ambassadors, will raise awareness of excellence of Korea’s advanced medical service and also participate in a lot of events.

I think it’s because JYJ is so beloved internationally and this is an international promotion to attract people in other countries to come to Korea for medical services. Few other groups have JYJ’s international profile – they’ve had to go outside of Korea for visibility in the last 5 years in areas where it was just not available to them at home.

I feel like when ever there’s a chance to screw over JYJ they will do it without any hesitation .
yeah i know that. but still this means more than that. being broadcasted is important too but above anything else, being appointed as hon ambassadors means that the organization trust them (JYJ) for they have good image to bring difficult task.
sometimes I feel being banned from TV is somewhat a blessing in disguise for them. Because of this, people are more curious about JYJ. It’s kind of feeling like “Hey, JYJ is ‘expensive’ man.. they dont appear in this kind of shows..” that kind of feeling.. you know..
@meme&JYJ Would you rather they not be ambassadors anymore? Something is better than nothing. And it’s not like they are poor and out of business. They make music, people buy their albums and go to their concerts and fan-sing events. They are free to do as they please, and live a respectful quality life living. Life’s good for them, better than others, but is that enough for you?
You don’t need to feel down whenever something good happens to them, or at least keep it to you’re self. Get off the sorrow episodes would you.
What JYJ go through is their struggle in life, all people struggle in life and deal with it without being babied by sorrow loving fans. It’s not like you offer JYJ a better offer. Just do what you can do, buy the albums and for our sake stop it with the bad vibe, maybe there will be bad news the next time and you can let go all of that hidden sorrow out when the time comes and feel refreshed then.

Je comprend ce que vous voulez dire. J’ai eu la même réaction quand j’ai vus les photos de l’inauguration de l’Hotel Toscana de Jeju. Je suis très heureuse pour leurs renaissance plus fort que jamais, maos en même temps, c’rst comme di ils entraient dans un autre monde, un monde sui nous edt, pour la plupatt, inaccessible et ça les a rendus, comme inaccesdibles pour nous. Nous, leurs fan, n’aurons probablement pour la plupart, jamais accès a ces lieux de prestiges. Je pense qu’ils sont passer de l’état d’idoles a l’état de Stars. Ors, les étoiles sont assez inaccesdible, on peut les voir, elles nous atiirent parcequ’elles brilles très fort, mais on ne peux pas les toucher !!!
i understand your concerns since it has happened more than once, but i think it is more positive===JYJ’s popularity across the world cannot be denied and they will have a huge influence over anything they are ambassadors for. if c-jes can look after their contract/business end with these events, they should be ok. plus, they do have their fans on their side ready and williing to stand up for them. i think their hard work and good names will over ride any incidents and leave them in good standing with the world! every thing will have pro’s and con’s and risks involved, but the overall good that comes is worth the risks!

I have a feeling that Korean government and Korean elite circles are actually feeling ashame of what happens with JYJ. They couldn’t help them in the entertainment industry so they try to compensate it by engaging them in other areas where they have more power.
umm….I don’t think government officials really care. JYJ are just a musical group to them and unless they are promoting something they don’t care what happens as longs as it isn’t scandalous. I think they feel like this about everyone, not just JYJ. It is just too disingenuous to believe that these people care when they still struggle to deal with the basic aspects of their jobs: unemployment, violence/crime, education, health, social services for the communities they represent, etc. Making sure that SME respects a court order it never has in the past and not to bully 3 young men into submission? Very low on their priority list.
