C-JeS Entertainment will be establishing a performance production subsidiary company (C-JeS Culture) and begin producing musicals.
Since 2010, C-JeS Entertainment succeeded in launching a world tour with JYJ, increasing its competitiveness with various activities, such as an Asia tour, fan meetings, branding concerts and more. It also participated in co-producing and investing in the musicals starring Kim Junsu, such as Mozart, Tears of Heaven, December, Dracula and more, showing its interest in musical business.
C-JeS Culture has chosen the highly anticipated musical Death Note (producer Baek Chang Joo, director Tamiya Kuriyama) as its first project.
The musical Death Note premiered in April 2015 in Tokyo Nissei theater and was performed in Osaka’s Umeda theater in May. It will be presented in Korea as a licensed performance for the first time around the world in June 2015 at Seongnam Art Center Opera Theatre.
Meanwhile, applications will be accepted for Death Note audition from December 22 through January 5 through C-JeS Culture’s official website (www.cjesculture.com).

Nice move C-Jes. And a logical one at that. I wonder when will they start their own entertainment channel on TV. 😀
That would be awesome though, and uri jyj can permorm any time they want
I wonder if Junsu will audition? If so then that’s no army service until fall YAH!
Great thinking CJES!!! I wonder if JS will be in this musical.
I’m in doubt about this. I want he go because it is the first musical of CJeS and Junsu is already a well-established musical actor and attract public as well as being his last project before the army and I do not want to because I want to CJeS find new musical actors and grow more, so she can firm in the entertainment industry in the musical field and get more capital, allies and power to be able to help JYJ when they leave the MS.
Actually, I hope he’s not in the musical, but apart of the talent search or maybe a watchful eye. There’s so much talent in the world and this is a brilliant business move on CJES. Junsu could provide sit ins or give his final opinion as an established musical actor. But… then again… since they’re starting out, I wouldn’t be surprised if they put him in the first show to sell tickets, build revenue, and build a name.
i am happy about this news. and totally support it.
CJes has shown a steady growth and established itself in the entertainment world – first as one artist agency – JYJ’s, then as an actors’ agency.
and after co-producing a few musicals and having 2 musical actors, it make sence for them to start producing muisicals on their own.
and i hope they start producing dramas and films, too!
LOL, too bad the #1 fan of Death Note said he’ll probably try musical when he will at his 40s 😀
Jaejoong should play L (he is always imitating him anyway and he does a good job at it 😀 ) and Junsu should be light Yagami (kind of remind me when he played Death especially with the evil laugh 3:) ) And what is most important here is to see JaeSu in one production (That will be a dream coming true ❤ ❤ ❤ )
How abt jaejoong for L xD
Maybe JJ will audition too.
