6 “Sea Fog aka Haemoo”– South Korea’s official foreign language submission to the 87th Academy Awards, “Sea Fog” tells a gripping story of a fishing crew trying to make a risky voyage on a ship that is slowly falling apart. Despite the gloomy and bleak feeling throughout the film, director Sung Bo Shim’s “Sea Fog” provides just enough hope along with its cinematic beauty to make this film stand out as one of the year’s best.

When fans say nice things about one of the boys, that’s a very good feeling. But when professionals do the same… That’s something so much more. 😀 *proud*
Totally agree.. ^^
Haemoo/Sea Fog is listed not as one of the author’s top 10 out of the 20 films he watched last year: it is listed as one of the top 10 festival films out of the 200 films he watched last year!
Haemoo must’ve really stood out (ofc with nine other good films).
One of the Top 10 from 200 films watched is truly wow.
Haemoo has achieved so much, glad that YC is part of this awesome production.
I really want to know the plot of the movie. After reading a lot of reviews, it seems like a really intense, tragic movie. I naturally assume that the saddest possible ending will occur. I think I saw an article on here where it shows an ending scene and now I really want to know what happens in this movie!
