‘Spy’’s Kim Jae-joong, Yoo Oh-sung make stunning scene with fantastic chemistry!
‘Spy’ dropped behind-the-scene photos of Kim Jae-joong and Yoo Oh-sung from their 6-hour-shooting at a closed swimming pool in the piercing cold weather.
Kim and Yoo are currently starring in KBS’s Friday mini series ‘Spy’, as Seon-woo, an ace agent of the national intelligence service and Ki-cheol, an anti-South spy, respectively. The men have showed being in an antagonistic relationship, which has caused tension to the home theater.
The shooting of their one-on-one confrontation was carried out on January 30th at a closed swimming pool on Ganghwado, Incheon.
It started at 9 p.m. and lasted for 6 hours, until 3 a.m. the next morning. But despite the severe cold, the actors proceeded with their shooting in an amicable atmosphere, full of laughter and jokes.
Moreover, the duo showed professionalism by checking their guns which was given as a prop, and sharing a shooting episode in the past in which they used a gun.
“Kim Jae-joong and Yoo Oh-sung showed excellent teamwork together and successfully finished the shooting the swimming pool scene which had long lines, making no outtakes at all,” a production staff said. “It was so fierce and intense that all the crew watched the scene hodling their breath. Please get excited for what’s going to happen ahead in our drama,” he added.
The 11th and 12th episode of KBS’s Friday drama ‘Spy’ will air in series from 9:30p.m.

What should the audience do if the crew themselves were watching with bated breath? This episode will be more than exciting.
Episodes 9 & 10 were a blast. Was glued to my seat, missing some of the subs to see the facial expression of the actors. Both KJJ and YOS were excellent. Gi Cheol looked tired, caught in a situation he no longer believes in. I think his feelings for mom were genuine and he never got another gf coz he still loves her. My guess is, he is the “supervisor “ who now wants to surrender to SK but I feel he will be killed by his own before he does that.
Observing KJJ’s face as an actor when SW sees mom with Gi Cheol, the way his expression changes from surprise, to disbelief, confusion and then decision and action, running and jumping over fences and gates, he was superb.
There are comments that when the two men met SW’s expression was meek. But remember SW had just undergone an emotional turmoil finding out his mum was spying on him and also that his father knew it. He was intense and angry when he confronted Gi Cheul but was swayed from one emotion to another as his suspicions about his mother were at first confirmed, then changed again when he learnt she was doing it to protect him. The emotional and psychological blackmail continue until, naturally SW becomes confused and needs time to think things over and plan how to extricate the family from both North pressure and pending NIS retaliation. KJJ went very convincingly thru all these emotions and confirmed once again that he is an accomplished actor.
And of course, he did just as I had predicted – went straight to gf’s place coz he couldn’t stand to go home. That was another peak moment, when my heart ached for SW as he is the only one who doesn’t realize it’s the gf who has been betraying him all the time.
Can’t wait for episodes 11 & 12.
hwang kichul is the supervisor? that is interesting theory, and will be so complicated. but, then shouldn’t hyun tae knows and told seonwoo who he is?
i think there might be new character showing up as the supervisor.

@ ai uta May be it’s only my wishful thinking, but if he is the one, that will help SW and Hyun Tae bust the corrupt bosses and help SW extricate himself and his mum and gf from NIS persecution. We want this time a happy ending for our KJJ, don’t we? Unlike with other thirllers where we try to guess who done it, here we more or less know who done it, but we are trying to guess what action next?
This scene was amazing!! I have enjoyed SPY since it started, but it just keeps getting better!! I can’t wait for the next episodes!! Jaejoong fighting!!
