M.C THE MAX participated for the soundtrack of SBS drama ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells.’
The song, ‘Because of you,’ showcases M.C. THE MAX’s dynamic charms and shows the great sense of drummer Jeon Min Hyuk and bassist Jae Yi Yoon. The vocalist of the band, Lee Soo, is part of the ‘South Korea Top 4 Vocals’ along with Park Hyo Shin, Kim Bum Soo, and Naul. ‘Because of you’ is a track that can fit right into M.C THE MAX’s album, creating a great song for a drama OST.
The song starts with a simple keyboard instrumental, creating the gentle base for the introduction where the drum, bass, and addition of string instruments come in for a grand orchestra sound that reminds of a waltz. Lee Soo perfectly depicts the emotions of a man who misses his lover after breaking up. Listening to his voice, it deafens the heart. With the combination of everything, another one of M.C. THE MAX’s hit OSTs has been made.
Along with the track, the music video containing clips from the drama will also be released. The music video will highlight the love line between Park Yoo Chun and Shin Se Kyung. From sweet affectionate scenes to missing each other’s path and worrying, the video raises anticipation for the progress of the drama.
Meanwhile, ‘Because of you’ will be released on April 23 at noon through online music sites.
