There are a lot of male idols who are cuter than women and has more aegyo than women. The meaning of ‘씹덕’ transitioned from otaku(the term commonly used in Japan for a person called an enthusiast among the levels of mania about something) when otaku crossed over into Korea; and is born from the term otaku+otaku=ten(십)-taku [T/N: ten times an otaku?].
