As an excellent lyricist, even if he will just cover Running The Sky, JJ knows how to pick the most appropriate song. It talks about struggle, courage, salvation, dreams, hope …

looking at the photos in the poster where Kim Jaejoong is one them. My heart is bursting out of joy knowing that those people are very important for the event. JYJ keep shining on even if they are not together Yuchun and Junsu did so well also, amidst the cruelty of Music Entertainment Industry in their own country.

OMG JJ is the only one in a soldier’s uniform. It’s a great honour to be chosen to perform on a stage marking a round anniverary of Independence, probably the most important day in the calendar of both Koreas. But I am not surprised – Jaejoong sang for the inauguration of the current President, again at the Arirang event in the Green Garden and dined with two presidents in Turkey.
What surprised me in the program though was No 2: Nessum Dorma, El Vito, Brindisi. At first I thought it was JJ who would sing it. But then I saw he was singing Running in the Sky.
This is probably the most difficult aria for a tenor (both JJ ans JS are tenors) from Giacomo Puccini, Turandot.
Looking at the poster, it would probably be that third gentleman from the left who will sing it, one needs a chest like that to be able to sing Nessum Dorma. Here is my favourite performance of Nessum Dorma by Luciano Pavarotti. Hope some of you will enjoy it.Pavarotti sings with similar deep emotion as our JYJ do.

Yes, yes!! The same way our three member’s voices speak to our hearts. I do often feel frustrated that I don’t know Korean. I would love to understand the words along with the expressions in their voices…when I read the English translations the sentiment of the composition is so superior to anything we write in the U.S. ( Well, Kiss B and Back Seat are a bit racie!!!). Oh Goodness, annnywaaaay. I just haven’t found good sentimental songs from America recently…..just stopped looking when I found JYJ. So look forward to them making music together again…long wait….😩😭😥
Same here 🙂 I love the lyriics of JYJ’s songs and always look for translations and subs. They are so much more meaningful than our Western lyrics which used to be too suggestive till they became downright vulgar. So since I discovered JYJ I don’t know what’s going on on our side of the globe. I hear girls screaming Bieber but when I listen to him and read about his scandals I can’t like him now that i’ve discovered JYJ.
The Mes Amis aria, when the audience went cray for his string of high Cs. I love his voice, oh the beautiful timber of it.
Jae is flawless himself, in his own way. His voice also has a beautiful timber.
I saw that and thought lucky folks to have such a wonderful mix of music for the evening. And glad to know I’m not the only opera junkie around too. It was my (very little) training and I was named for a character in one. Wish I could be there….

Ah the one from the street interview was probably the third one (that I’ve heard of). She is from his trainee days and left him for one of the others coz JJ wasn’t famous enough for her. She is the one who should kick herself 😭

Now, from Pavarotti to JJ’s PICTURE! Sure hope his mom has one on her living room wall. I have asked before; I wonder just how many photos there are of him. But this photo speaks to me as to being who JJ truly is. A fine handsome talented man of Korea. A light is in his eyes that no fashion photo would ever capture. The image is the essence of the man. Of course, I could never ever know his heart, but I really hope I am reading this well.

Well, during the DBSK days he entered the Ginness Book as the most photographed celeb. Did you see in the second part how young and how shy he looked when talking about his first kiss?
How could he be any more than 17 or 18? So young to have so much attention. Yes, very shy. And he seems to be somewhat like that now. Until, of course, he gets on stage and he wants to take his shirt off all the time and be such a tease! Goodness gracious!! Stops my heart!!! And I have seen not just a few of those sexy performers…but he does it better than I have ever seen😏😏😏.

Why Korean guys? Just think they may have more to offer, looks, talent, a back story of standing up for what they believed was right…I know they are not saints, but they do seem to have integrity and humility. And are people who appreciate what they have been given and want to use it for the benefit of others. Hope I don’t get my bubble popped!

To me it looks like there are going to be 2 events. The first one is at KOREAN ARMY HQ on an unknown date which starts at 6.25 with 4 performers, (the first program in the previous post) as it says here:
