To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Korean independence, the army will hold a military music & cultural event to ruminate martyrs’ noble sacrifice and patriotism, together with the people.
The army’s military music chairperson & battalion will host ‘The Republic of Korea LOVE Concert’ in Chungnam National University’s Jeongsimhwa International Cultural Center at 7:30 PM KST on August 11, with the citizens of Daejeon and under the supervison of the Army Chief of Staff(General Kim Yo-hwan).
Private Kim Jaejoong from popular group JYJ, who is in the middle of serving in the 55th Infantry Division currently, will present a special stage where he is reinterpreting and singing a fresh version of the late Kim Kwang-Seok’s representative song ‘Though I Loved You’.
