Yuchun, was on a show late at night promoting TGWSS, but that was like at midnight, so not too many people would see it. He’s only on now because he’s not promoting anything but himself. When they’re finally on shows singing or promoting a drama, then we’ll know the blacklisting is over, but as long as SM has control over the entertainment industry, it won’t happen. I don’t know of any other time a member of JYJ was able to be on mainstream TV to talk about a project, but I hope I’m around when it happens.
It got to start somewhere, right? As conservative as the major Korean TV networks, they will be testing waters gradually. I myself actually thinks this is better than him being on a show promoting a TV drama that is being shown in the same network, as I think recognizing his individual star power without helping a particular network is more valuable, and take more guts from the network.
