XIA Junsu revealed how he enlisted Cheetah for his new album.
XIA Junsu held a reporters roundtable for mini album ‘Just Yesterday’ at the Hyundai Card Music Library in Seoul′s Hannam-dong on October 15, where he introduced the track ‘Midnight Show’.
XIA Junsu said, “I′m an avid fan of Unpretty Rapstar, and I became a fan of Cheetah watching season one. I asked Cheetah while preparing for this album, and she said yes without hesitation. Thanks to Cheetah, we were able to create a song that is easy to listen to in the fall.”
‘Midnight Show’ conveys the secret love between a man and a woman and features bold, witty lyrics as well as a refined, sensual beat.
Meanwhile, XIA Junsu′s mini album ‘Just Yesterday’, set for release on October 19, contains a total of eight tracks, including acoustic versions of Tarantallegra, Incredible and Flower, from his previous albums.
Lead single ‘Just Yesterday’ is a ballad written and composed by singer-songwriter Lucia and highlights XIA Junsu′s signature emotional voice.

Junsu admitted during the showcase for his mini album ‘Had To be Yesterday,’ held on October 15 at Hyundai Card Music Library, that he is an ardent fanboy of the ‘fierce unnie’ rapper Cheetah.
The singer introduced “Midnight Show,” the track featuring the rapper, explaining, “It’s an urban beat song, which is really popular in Korea nowadays. The concept is love. It’s a fun song which describes love in a humorous and bold manner.”
Junsu acknowledged that he is a big fan of ‘Unpretty Rapstar,’ and confessed that he became a fan of Cheetah after seeing her on the first season of the show. Because he liked her so much after watching ‘Unpretty Rapstar,’ Junsu even sent a request for her to feature on his new album, to which she wholeheartedly agreed! Junsu added, “Everything from the rap to the narration went smoothly. It’s a track that is good to listen to on a breezy autumn day.”

OMG, this post almost gave me a heart attack. All I could see in the email notification subject line was “Xia Junsu reveals why he enlisted…” and I was like whaaaat?! No! I’m not ready for that yet, it’s too soon! 😀 😀 I think I got very trigger-happy about the word “enlist” lately… 😀
