JYJ‘s Junsu prefers personality over looks when it comes to women.
When asked about his ideal type on the November 6 broadcast of YTN’s “Kim Sun Young’s News Night,” the star says, “Looks-wise, I don’t have an ideal type. I only have preferences about personality.”
He goes on to describe what kind of personality traits he appreciates, “[I like people who are] bright, cheerful, positive, and enjoy sports.”
Later on, the MC asks him, “Would you have become a professional soccer player if you hadn’t debuted as a singer?” to which the amateur soccer enthusiast responds, “I probably wouldn’t have done too well, but I would have tried it out.”
Meanwhile, Junsu returned with his latest solo mini album “Yesterday” on October 19, and is set to hold his solo concert “2015 XIA 4th ASIA TOUR CONCERT IN SEOUL” on November 7 at 7 p.m.

I think his ideal type is himself XD Bright? Check. Cheerful? Check. Positive? Check. Enjoys sports? Hell to the yeah.
Of course, partners in many happy couples can be remarkably similar to each other. It’s reasonable if you think about it: if your partner wants the same things as you do, and understands you so well, it’s a wonderful basis for a wonderful relationship.
