The November 23 broadcast of tvN’s “The List 2015” revealed “Stars Who Made It on Their Own.”
Actor Park Yoo Hwan ranked number six on the list for successfully becoming an actor without his brother JYJ’s Park Yoochun’s help.
Park Yoo Hwan started dreaming of becoming an actor when he saw his brother Park Yoochun on KBS drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal.” His brother offered to help him with his dream of becoming an actor, but Park Yoo Hwan refused and started out in small theaters building his foundation as an actor. He went on to appear in writer Kim Soo-Hyun’s “A Thousand Days’ Promise” alongside actors Soo Ae and Kim Soo Hyun Kim Rae-Won.
“The List 2015” is a program that explores celebrity fun facts through rankings. It airs every Monday at 8:40 p.m. KST.

I had to check…. and Asian Wiki had Kim Soh Hyun listed as the writer of the drama, so they weren’t referring to the actor.
I would have remembered if Yuhwan was in a drama with Kim Soh Hyun because……….

but the article above mentioned Actor Kim Soh Hyun was in it too? I don’t see his name in the cast list.
The writer of the drama was Kim Soh Hyun …..not the actor I presumed.
I think Soompi meant ‘Kim Rae-Won’ but accidentally put Kim Soo Hyun’s name. It’s probably because Kim Soo Hyun shows up also in the ranking, at #3.
Oh, I just checked the sources Soompi listed at the bottom of their article; and you’re right, it might have been a mistranslation by Soompi.
The first source (from OSEN via Nate) has written: “…and had appeared as the role of Soo-ae’s little brother in Kim Soo-hyun’s ‘A Thousand Days’ Promise’.“
