Next month, coming back with ‘7th Album Psyder’, singer PSY will be releasing a song dedicated to Shin Hae Cul included in the new album.
PSY had introduced the song from his 7th album, ‘Dream’, through a portal site.
He explained, “It’s a song filled with words from conversations I had with Shin Hae Chul in the lyrics”.
Also in this song, group JYJ’s Kim Junsu had added meaning with his special involvement, as vocal.
The full amount of the song’s revenues are expected to be donated to the bereaved family of the late Shin Hae Chul.

Ahead of releasing his new album on the 1st next month, PSY had disclosed, in an interview recently, about ‘Dream’; the song from his album sung with JYJ member Kim Junsu and made for the late Shin Hae Chul.

Yang hyun Suk: “I personally like ‘Dream’, which is a song dedicated to the late Shin Hae-chul. I think everyone in my generation has some memories about him. I fell in love with XIA’s voice in this song. I really liked his voice, to an extent that I felt sorry for XIA that I haven’t realized how good his voice is so far. I understood why he is so popular. I will recommend him that he perform with PSY for PSY’s concert this month. I want to see how he sings on the stage directly”.
You’d think Junsu was someone they’d never heard of before, and perhaps that is so with the Korean media blackout. That must be so frustrating and demoralizing for our boys. They have done so well and are such talented singers, plus all their other activities.
Yang Hyun Suk had forgotten how good Junsu is after all the years without broadcast, but all it took was a single song!
I think the JYJ members are well-adjusted by now to the media blackout – they have proven successful even without the music and variety programmes and have grown into confident and independent young men. Of course, it must still be frustrating they are not treated equally – they did nothiong wrong so they should be given the opportunity to appear on TV!
