Joo Won, Kim Hyun-joo, Yoo Ah In, Kim Tae-hee, Moon Geun-young, Cho Jae-hyun, Joo Ji-hoon, Ji Jin-hee, Shin Se-kyung, and Park Yuchun were awarded the Top 10 Stars Awards at 2015 SBS Drama Awards held in COEX D Hall in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on December 31.

We’ve already counted down our favorite movies and TV dramas of the year. Now it’s time for the music! Here are our picks for the top ten Korean albums of 2015.

XIA KIM JUN SU – FLOWER
Three years ago, Kim Jun Su made our top ten list on the force of Tarantallegra‘s pure epicness. This year, he outdoes himself with “Flower,” a stunningly dramatic medium-tempo dance track with a grand, atmospheric arrangement that would be right at home as an RPG score. Tablo’s lyrical rap offers the finishing touch for a track that represents pop theatricality at its best. Of course, Jun Su’s flair for the dramatic works only because it’s matched by his expressive vocal performance and musicality. Jun Su, who co-produced the album and penned many of its tracks, applies his impeccable vocals to songs as diverse as the urban electronic concoction Out of Control, the Broadway-style Musical in Life and soul-stirring ballads like “My Night” and “Breath of Love.”

[NEWS] JYJ’s Jaejoong’s Fanclub Donates Book Cafe to the Armed Forces

JYJ’s Jaejoong’s fanclub has personally donated a book cafe to the first division of the armed forces! The library opened its doors on December 21.

The book cafe was prepared by Jaejoong’s fans so that the armed forces serving in the front lines could have a place to relax and keep up with intellectual activities during their service. During the selection process for the donation, the fans took into consideration the fact that Jaejoong had spent his training with the first division.

The small library holds desks and chairs and even features temperature control in consideration of the armed forces who may have to endure cold weather. The fans also personally sent 500 books, CDs, DVDs, and even a stereo system.
