JYJ member Kim Junsu, or XIA, was honored with the Top Star Award at the 2015 Korea Lifestyle Awards on Wednesday. The star has been active both as a musical actor and a K-pop singer.
“I’ve been busy lately with musicals and concert tours,” said the singer on the podium, pledging he would become a better singer and actor. He also extended gratitude toward his fans, referring to them as his “top of the top.”
KOLSA brings together those with outstanding achievements in Korean entertainment.
Kim, meanwhile, is slated to hold concerts from Dec. 29-31 at Jamsil Olympics Arena in Seoul.

JYJ’s Junsu picked up the ‘Top Star’ award at the ‘2015 Korean Life Style Awards’ (‘2015 KOLSA’).
His agency C-JeS Entertainment revealed, “Junsu was given the top star award at ‘KOLSA 2015’, which was held on December 9 at Yeoido’s Conrad Hotel. It’s because he received so much love from his fans this year with his music, musicals, and concerts.”
Winning the award, Junsu stated, “I spent this year busily with an album, musical, and Asia tour. With this award, I’ll devote myself to being a better singer and actor. More than anything, I sincerely thank my fans, who are the top of the top.”

[NEWS] 151210 Xia Junsu and designer Lee Joo-young reveal the results of their charity collaboration
K-pop funding platform Makestar revealed the full details of the duo’s charity collaboration project on December 10th.
Xia Junsu’s birthday is on December(month 12) the 15th. And so to commemorate this, they are selling 1215 limited edition products. The products will be available in a Gangnam display room on three separate days. December 15th, 18th, and 21st.
There are 11 item types in total. They consist of clothing, accessories and a photo album detailing the collaboration process between Junsu and Lee Joo-young. Most of the products are made in Junsu size, from the ring to the shirts. You can read more about the events and each of the products here.

Both desinger Lee Joo-young and Xia Junsu were involved deeply in the design of all products. A limited edition package containing all the items is available for $838.
An extra special donation party will be held for all the 1215 fans who purchase an item. The exact date and location have yet to be announced, but it will take place in January.
In collaboration with designer Lee Joo-young, donations will be collected for setting up a vocational training school in Cambodia.
The collaboration charity sales event officially starts at 12:15 on December (12) 15th. The two follow up sales days will be on December 18th and 21st, both at 8pm. The location will be 34, Gangnam-daero 102gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Tickets for Kim Junsu’s new musical, ‘DRACULA,’ were completely sold out in 10 minutes.
On December 9th, tickets for Kim Junsu’s new musical, ‘DRACULA,’ were officially opened, and 32 thousand tickets got completely sold out just in 10 minutes.
‘DRACULA’ debuted #1 on several different keyword charts earlier in the day, and ticket reservation websites had to suffer server error due to excessive number of reservations coming in at the same time. The musical is getting presented at Sejong Arts Center, which is the largest and the most prestigious concert venues of Korea, this news further indicates Kim Junsu’s colossal popularity and influence.
Kim Junsu had played in the same musical back in 2014, and all of the tickets were completely sold out back then as well. Afterwards, Kim Junsu earned even greater fame as one of the most popular musical actors of Korea.
Musical ‘DRACULA’ was motivated from Bram Stoker’s novel of the same title, and prominent composer Frank Wildhorn composed all of the songs for the show. The musical was premiered in New York back in 2004, and it quickly became one of the most internationally renowned musicals.
Meanwhile, ‘DRACULA’ will be presented from January 23rd until February 9th at Sejong Arts Center.
