C-JeS Entertainment said, “XIA placed 1st place in the ballot of the Domestic Popularity Award carried out by the ‘25th High1 Seoul Music Awards’ from November 27, 2015 to January 12, 2016. XIA won a total of 46.7% of votes in the ballot for the Popularity Award domestically chosen 100% by voting results beforehand, and recorded 1st place. This confirmed his fandom as the best both in reality and in name, and solidified his position despite the limitations upon his broadcasting activities and such”.
XIA was nominated for the Popularity Award made up of only domestic fans’ votes and with title track ‘Flower’ of his 3rd regular album ‘FLOWER’ that was released last March; and has taken 1st place with the highest-ever number of votes amid fans’ heated supports.
XIA also conveyed his thoughts through his own SNS: “All of the fans..the heart of every one of you..and the time and efforts you spent to see me go up on a lacking stage just once fully..To know your heart well more than anyone else.. I also will remember one by one with every fiber of my body to the utmost. I thank you very much. And I sincerely love you.”
Currently XIA is at the height of rehearsals for musical ‘Dracula’ that will be rising its curtain at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts on January 23rd.
