Kim Jun-su of JYJ performed the soundtrack of “Descendants of the Sun” for the first time on Wednesday at his concert in Tokyo.
During the concert, Kim became a genie making fans’ three wishes come true. For one of the wishes, a Japanese fan asked him to give a live performance of the drama’s soundtrack.
“It’s the most popular drama in Korea. I participated in singing the original soundtrack,” Kim said. “The song was featured in the drama but hasn’t been released yet. But I am surprised that my Japanese fans know about it. This is the first time to perform the song live,” Kim said and sang parts of the song.
The last performance of Kim’s two-day concert, titled “2016 Xia the Best Ballad Spring Tour Concert vol.2 in Japan,” will take place at Tokyo International Forum on Wednesday evening.
