Thank you for this Cheetah. How presumptuous of me to think the rest of the world does things the way I do😔😔😔. I have not caught the universal use of….what I think of as toilet paper….in Kdrama land nor has anyone told me. Here in the US South we have paper for every use. Paper napkins for the table, paper towels for kitchen clean up, hand tissues for blowing the nose, and of course toilet paper for nature’s necessities Come to think about it….that does seem like over kill! Shame on westerners for their over consumption😕

Well, GP. I copy paste: “Correct answer : A bath for men” I was considering the “correct” answer, not the items on the photo.
On the two continents where I live, what used to be called the toilet and then the ladies’ (gent’s) is now called the bath room (well, we don’t yet have unisex, each has its own picture of women’s or men’s attributes). If somebody, not well acquainted with the geography of my house asks me where the bathroom is, I show them to the loo. Last week I got a message and asked my house help to reply that i am in the shower. Instead of shower she wrote that i am in the bath and a minute later i get an emoticon of a toilet seat telling me not to sit on it for too long.
Looks like the Queen’s English has propagated in different ways as it proliferated around the world, but in my mind bath for men = the gent’s loo. I suppose they were just teasing Junsu because they obviously knew that the TP he so prominently displayed could be (mis)interpreted to mean other things than nose… .
Okay…after reading this one more time….perhaps they just meant that there were many men there…like it would be at a male sauna. Could that be it?
Or even really a bath was meant. It has just occurred to me somebody told me that unlike Japan where they have at least showers in their own homes, in most Korean homes there are no showers/baths so they go to communal/public baths where they soak and scrub themselves. Often times they go as a family or with friends. Yeah, that must be it.
Anna Liza….I think we have figured it out!!! 👏🏽😀👏🏽😀. All I needed was one person to agree with me and so we will count it as a success! There is a large Korean community in Duluth, Georgia, which is east of me by a good 3 hours drive. But there is a Sauna there named JeJu Sauna…Google it! I may just go some day! And stay overnight and sleep on the heated floors🤗 Well, I think they are heated there. 😕
Georgia Peach We are geniuses! I googled it and it reminds me so much of something very similar in the Hague. Except it’s called a spa though it has saunas, jakuzzi, infrared rooms and all the rest BUT it is unisex. Everybody walking around naked young and old and pretending not to observe each other’s details. Very liberated. May be we might trick JYJ to go to a “men’s bath” there while we take strategic positions. Am I being devious or am I ?
