Singer Kim Junsu (XIA) expressed his regrettable heart toward group VIXX members Leo and Ravi who collapsed in the middle of their Mexico performance recently, when it is very difficult to do dancing in high altitudes.
Kim Junsu held a press conference before his ‘2016 XIA 5th ASIA TOUR CONCERT in SEOUL’ performance on Olympic Park’s Gymnasium Arena in Bangi-dong, Seoul on the afternoon of June 11th; and disclosed this.
To the asked question on world tour jinx, Kim Junsu confessed, “There is no jinx,” and, “I have been taking half-body baths when I only have nothing to do in hotels overseas. It has become a habit that I seem to keep continuing on”.
He also confessed, “I have experienced it being very difficult only once. When I had performed in Mexico, that place back then was difficult since it was in a high mountain region,” and, “Not long ago, I saw articles about two persons in a group collapsing in the articles. I also really felt having the experience where I was at the brink of collapsing back then in my Mexico performance. I sensed that it was difficult, as well, for me to do dances in the high altitude”.
Previously, the past May, VIXX’s Leo and Ravi complained of dizziness in the middle of their performance in Mexico and collapsed.
Meanwhile Kim Junsu is planning to present a stage live with a total of 17 songs from the songs in his regular 4th album ‘XIGNATURE’ –that was released recently– and all, including songs from his 1st, 2nd, & 3rd solo albums that were released in the while, at his performances this time. In particular, you can see blockbuster group dances together with a total of 20 dancers, including 12 Korean dancers and up to foreign dancers.
Kim Junsu is planning on continuing with 15 performances in a total of 8 cities –including Nagoya, Kobe, & Yokohama, Japan and China, Thailand, & etc.– after holding his concert at the same place once more on June 12th.
