It seems that singer actor Park Yoo-chun’s Chinese fans started taking group actions.
After the news reported Park Yoo-chun was sued for sexual assault on June 13th, his fandom in Korea as well as in Asia was completely shocked. His fans in China, where he gained the utmost popularity for his roles in ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ and ‘The Rooftop Prince’, were no different.
After the related news was reported in China, most of his Chinese fans revealed their distrust towards Korean media based on their belief “The charges have not been proven yet”. Especially after the first complaint withdrew the accusation saying “There was no force”, such trend among his Chinese fans became even stronger.
Later, his Chinese fans started supporting using hashtags, ‘Park Yoo-chun, we’ll protect you’, ‘Park Yoo-chun, we will be waiting until you return’ through the Chinese social network service, Wiebo and also opened an account with the title, ‘Action to support Park Yoo-chun’.
They also established a network assigned to each local area and are promoting their supporting activities lively. Over 20 messenger channels have been open on Weibo to cover the areas including Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Fujian and other regions. Through the open messenger channels, Park Yoo-chun’s fans are sharing the location of meeting, time, purpose and the other details of their activities.
Most of the local groups are planning to promote ‘Taking group photo to support’. Prior to this, a small group of fans in Chongqing gathered to hang a placard and revealed a group photo to support Park Yoo-chun. To respond, fans in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other areas also started posting the details of their meet-ups.
Park Yoo-chun’s Chinese fans maintains their stance as “Until the investigation completes, fans will stand by Park Yoo-chun” and continues their support using the hashtag, ‘Park Yoo-chun, we will protect you”.
The fact that Park Yoo-chun was accused for sexual assault was reported on June 13th. Although the first complainant withdrew her accusation based on ‘no force’, three additional complainants reported similar assault cases afterwards.
Park Yoo-chun filed a written accusation letter against the first complainant for blackmail and false accusation. His agency also has announced that he will retire from entertainment business if he would be proven guilty. The police in charge formed an investigation team of 12 members and is investigating the case primarily through the cross examination on the complainant and the people who were at the scene.

JYJ DC are not legitimate Yoochun fans. They’re Junsu fans, which explains their rushed decision to drop Yoochun even before the first police investigation! Now, that is wrong. I don’t care who your bias is but Yoochun deserves the benefit of the doubt. He is innocent until proven guilty – that is the law. It’s sad cuz those 3 are very close and loyal to each other specially during the SM nightmare.
To JYJ DC: You should reconsider your decision since a lot more are now surfacing from the police investigation that the accuser #1 BF and cousin are gang members who are being investigated for blackmail and extortion. The investigation is now focusing on 4 establishments where the 4 women work on illegal activities including prostitution. This has become bigger than Yoochun allegations, as there could be many famous celebrities and politicians victimized by these people. Be fair to Yoochun.

I hope yoochun gets cleared of all charges and be able to start his career anew in china. Afterall, he already expressed his desire to penetrate the chinese market i just wonder what are the sentiments of his japanese fans. Maybe he can concentrate on overseas activities instead.
Yoochun has reached rock bottom and there’s no other way for him but up. I always believe that if things don’t go the way we want them to then there might be another even better way for us to explore. With this scandal, yoochun must have learned his lesson and in the process emerge as a better person and artist. Who knows, China might be the answer to his problems. If he can prove his innocence, then let us all unite to help him back to his feet and rebuild his life and career. He’s simply too young to be left broken and abandoned.

Seriously, media should not capitalize with that fansite withdrawing support to YC because that was not a true JYJ fansite in the first place. I think to put JYJ to their name was just a ploy. Instead of supporting JJ, they were busy with their hate campaign towards JJ fans branding them as acgaes. Now, who is more acting as an acgae? Almost every report is highlighting their withdrawal of support, it’s given an impact, a corroboration to the charges YC is facing. That group is a disgrace to Korean fans. People (local and international) may think that Korean fans turn their backs from YC but I think it’s just that specific group. They should be ashamed to how the Chinese fans are handling the crisis.
Kris: Since I live in the US, I don’t have any insight in SK fan set up. Keep posting please and enlighten us. Your post is very important to us outside of SK. If only a small group of fake fans do not support Yoochun, then a good majority of the Korean fans do support him. How can we make them come out and speak up?

Actually I’m not from SK, but I used to follow DC JYJ Gall twitter account and I’m a JJ biased fan. From my years of following JYJ3 posts, YC has a lot of fansites actively supporting him, maybe a YC bias fan is in the best position to talk more about them.
This really gives me great feeling..another source of strength from them the way they support YC..Let’s all unite and have that strength for Yoochun..Fight!!!
Even though I have only been a fan of Yoochun for over a year because of his drama, Rooftop Prince, he has completely won me over with his acting skills, his adorable smile, and his musical talents (especially the fact that he learned how to play piano on his own!!! Amazing!).
Anyway, I have a couple of things I want to get off my chest regarding this case and I just wanted to share with you all.
#1 – The fact that he likes the washroom. It may seem strange to a lot of people and a lot of people have commented that they don’t understand why he finds the washroom so “beautiful”, I personally think that it probably has to do with the fact that in the past, when his parents were always arguing, he would run to the washroom and cry and let out all his frustrations, and once he was finished, he would just flush all of it down the toilet and be done with it. So, I believe that he finds the washroom comforting because it has always been a place where he can truly breakdown and let out all his emotions.
Now, with respect to the case at the clubs, where else is anybody supposed to have sex? The washroom is the most “private” place there.
#2 – Yoochun is such a loving and family oriented person, it’s hard to believe that he would rape or force himself on anyone. Even to this day, he still speaks of his father and constantly says that he wants to talk to him. Also, how can a guy that doesn’t even want to catch a chicken (as shown on the show, Fruitful Trip) or watch JJ and JS pluck the chicken’s feathers be capable of committing such a violent act? It just doesn’t add up. I believe his personality just isn’t the type to be able to do something like that.
#3 – The fact that all four cases sound the same is unbelievable. From 2014, 2015 and 2016, ALL the stories are exactly the same, including their statements. It makes one think that they were pre-planned and all the girls are following the same script. Plus, I read that they have discovered seven books of all the clubs’ money transactions, it is easy to explain why the girls are able to recall the specific dates of when it happened, because it’s all written down! Is it mere coincidence? I think not.
I personally believe it’s gang related, and that the girls were told to come forward and say what they have said about Yoochun so that the gangs can blackmail him and his company to pay them to make the case “disappear”.
#4 – With regard to the first case that surfaced this year, where the girl submitted her underwear to the police. I just wanted to say that even after a week, police still haven’t been able to determine it was Yoochun’s DNA. If it was his, I’m sure they would have reported it already and we would all know about it. Also, according to the CCTV at the club, police said that they can’t even find him there, so how is it possible that he had sexual encounters with this girl?
#5 – It’s already been two weeks since the first case came out, but police still haven’t been able to charge Yoochun, it really goes to show that they don’t have enough or any evidence at all indicating that it was him. In fact, instead of investigating Yoochun, the police have now started to focus their investigation on the gangs’ methods of blackmail against Yoochun.
The one thing I am most concerned about is that even if they don’t charge Yoochun with rape or sexual assault, he’s going to get pinned for having sex with these girls no matter what. And, that makes me even more sad because Yoochun has already suffered so much from his early life, plus the 2012 case, that he really doesn’t deserve this to happen to him. I can only imagine what he is going through and it really pains my heart.
Lastly, I just wanted to say that I am really proud of the international fans, especially the China fans, to come out and support Yoochun. Reading everyone’s posts of support really moves me, and I hope that Yoochun knows that even though times are tough for him, he has a lot of people out there supporting him.
I really hope that after this case is over, we will still be able to see him act and perform on stage, but I think that’s just wishful thinking. I really hope he will be able to recover from this, otherwise it will be such a waste of talent in my opinion.
